My friend never created Bitshares 1.0 wallet. He only have BTC private key from AGS donation.
That's good. He can simply import the private key into the BitShares wallet (in the wallet management console) and "claim" the corresponding balance.

I notified the admin of the server to update the certificate .. sorry for the trouble

To claim AGS, he does not need this old wallet server.  This is only for someone who had a web wallet and did not make a backup or convert to the new web wallet.   I see svk has done a lot of work here!  Looks awesome.. Under the right header drop-down I see Settings .. Then there are some options to import your keys..

All he needs to do is to import the private keys in the BitShares wallet ..
If I recall correctly, he will be redirected to the "claim balances" page afterwards

Thank you Xeroc. But http://wallet.bitshares.org/ don't work anymore. Any other links?
