PTS/AGS succeed to attract attentions and fund. But it also makes it difficult to please each investors. It is always a impossible mission to please everyone.

Smart persons are working hard behind the forum for this project. Delay is very common in software development. No need to worry about it.

We are probably witnessing the birth of a great product. So be patient.

Haven't heard of anything, any updates, and feedbacks, any common for a week.

Are the whole crew on vacation?

Just wondering

With 3 Million AGS donation, i think the team should at least have a certain level of professionalism.
:-\  Your facts are off.

Are you trying out a new alias? if so, it does not suit you or your investment.

what does it has anything to do with my investment? if your smart, you should really focus ur attention on the quesion i raised rather than on my personal issues.

most ppl are really nice trying to help me solve my concerns. what u do for helping? Senior member!

i only kept my eye on update 2.0 coz i think all important updates should go straight to there.

if you have time, you can read the entire whole forum all day if you want which i have no intension doing so.

ppl have emotions, they way you did does not help

Critical details found in the test:

I think the question posed my most ppl is how much longer? not in which day it will release, but maybe month? or quarter?

i dont think we expect to see updates everyday about debugs, it that to hard to tell?

programming can always be a loop. test - debug- test - debug - test - debug.

Every saturday, bytemaster provides updates regarding progress and setbacks in a dev voice hangout. It is edited and posted by legendface66.  If u wish to attend, u can ask questions and record the session for later distribution yourself...or you can listen to last weeks where he provided an update with regard to a random memory leak they need to fix.  All in all id say BM does a pretty good job of providing updates in many formats

In case you haven't been following the updates on the forum and only waiting for your wallet and your shares.

From what I understand, the reasons for the delay was the discovery of the possibility of a non trivial attack. That attack was not known before the first release estimate was made. Why isn't anybody relieved that the problem was discovered before trading bitshares started? I3 had to design a new solution after the snapshot and delivery estimate was made. This new solution was now also made to help the creation of all future chains and speed up future developments.

Last week they ran the first test of the new system and ran into a number of show-stopping bugs that they are fixing right now and they expect to have those bugs fixed shortly and have the testnet back up this week. So if that test-network keeps working as expected, not only will you get your non-test-wallet up and running shortly after, but quite a few of the announced DACs will be ready to go as well.

While I see a lot of complaints about I3 and how they lack something or other, I'm not really certain all those claims are actually legitimate. Certainly not in comparison to other projects I've seen. I have not seen other teams produce 2 completely new PoS blockchain solutions in a similar timeframe, 3 blockchain solutions actually if you include the PTS-chain experiment. Also publishing a chain that is not robust or tested and that fails catastrophically seems to me to be a far worse deal than waiting a bit longer for a tested model. I'm starting to suspect people underestimate the difficulty and work required in order to design a network like this. I don't think you can expect results in the same time frame it takes to barf on your keyboard.

I'm not being a fanboy here. Well funded people working full time on just making an alternative implementation of bitcoin-core to make the network more decentralized have taken years to complete(if they ever get to that stage) and they even have an example to go by. So why would a completely new network, which seems to be quite a bit more complex than bitcoin take not at least a few months to work out?

thx for your words ... :)

If the Invictus team is not much present on the forum, it most likely means the are being productive, focusing on the work to be done.

exactly it is!

I must begin to think, it doesn't matter - when BM posted much ... then people asked why he isn't focused to get BTS X launched.
And now, BM is focused on exactly this ... and this isn't ok now also ... cause he doesn't post a lot here during the last days ...

Funny thing :)
But as i can see he updated about testing etc. a few times since 1st may ..

here for example...
https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1890.msg57027#msg57027

pls take a closer look to & show a little more patience..we're all nosy about

Dont worry BM has been putting a lot of work. Debugging is a good procedure because that means the core is complete and testing and adjustments are process by which integrity of the product is at stake . All possibility is being considered.
