the pool seems to be down now...

we now have over 1k miners connecting... which is causing some known problems.

I am already on to fixing. Should not be too long.

I guess I am underestimating the number of people connecting...

How do we know if the pool is up and running?  I'm using the Windows version and I see:
Code: [Select]
[MASTER] submitted share -> SHARE
[STATS] 2013-12-25 17:05:34 | SHARES: 1 (100.0% | 109.1/h), VL: 1 (100.0%), RJ:
0 (0.0%), ST: 0 (0.0%)
hash generated - 1794 / 1968 / 941093257
hash generated - 3637 / 1968 / 1879161239
hash generated - 9001 / 1968 / 1713224746
hash generated - 764 / 1968 / 1702702240
submit: 07d8a1f15a610e698c866000a3e3bc4bd1ba7667a303aa4059b800689da6aa10
[MASTER] submitted share -> SHARE
[STATS] 2013-12-25 17:08:05 | SHARES: 2 (100.0% | 39.1/h), VL: 2 (100.0%), RJ: 0
 (0.0%), ST: 0 (0.0%)

But I don't see any info on http://mmc.xpool.xram.co/

And is my individual hash rate listed there in that information?  Is there some way to get that?

hey badbonez,

if you see this:

[MASTER] submitted share -> SHARE
[STATS] 2013-12-25 17:08:05 | SHARES: 2 (100.0% | 39.1/h), VL: 2 (100.0%), RJ: 0
 (0.0%), ST: 0 (0.0%)

it means that the share was taken by the server and it is valid.

I am not sure why the website would not be working for you though... unless the pool crashed again and I was not aware. It should automatically restart.

Killerbyte,

what about the payments?

I haven't received payment since 10 hours and having more than 30 MMC in balance....

they were delayed last night due to a problem with the payout system. I am trying to alvoid sending out payouts that should not happen, that is all.

Your payouts will happen later today, no more than 6 more hours most likely. Sorry about the delay.

HI,NICE JOB FOR MAKING THIS POOL

I have a question for wihch version of Linux is the best one for runing this miner? waiting for your reply

any lightweight linux distro would probobly be best. Ubuntu would work fine, so would Linux Mint. If you really want to optimize it, Arch Linux if you can figure it out... does that help? :)

Glad you enjoy the pool (I still have work to do :) )

Constantly losing connection to the pool making me generate useless hashes...

what is the error? Standard 111 or something else?

Quote
have you received any MMC in this pool i mean after a period time of mining i get no MMC in my wallet with about 20 shares

Couple things:

1. Shares become value in blocks once they are mined

2. Then the block must be confirmed. This is something required by the network and is pretty much out of my control

3. Then the balance must reach 0.5 MMC

4. Then you will be payed.

Additionally, the payouts are currently stalled due to a little problem in the system. You will be payed today.

One payout has already been executed, so this one has just been delayed. Sorry about that.

Has anyone been experiencing lower reject rates with the new server? My computer has not had a single reject all night.

Hi,

When I solo mine ,I got this issue display on screen ""Warning: Please check that your computer's date and time are correct! If your clock is wrong MemoryCoin will not work properly.","

How I can fix it ?
Change date time ? change timezone ? What time zone change to ?

I'm running MMC version "version" : 85500

Thanks.

what OS? Does the time look correct on your computer at this time?

thankyou for your fast reply killerbyte,

Can you help me the best -genproclimit=?? set

looks like a dual core... so you would be most efficient setting -genproclimit=2

Guys,

question, i have a server which has only 2 CPUs. But i can run -genproclimit=20. If i set like that does it has advantage or just same as running -genproclimit=2?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

most of the time it just causes a slowdown a believe, that is my experience with XPM. If you have an intel processor with hyperthreading though, make sure to use all the cores.

KillerByte thank you for the update!!!

Man...if you had windows support - i would have brought in around 1000 HPM within a few hours :/

is it a big problem to compile under windows ?

yes, I have no experience with cross compiling, and I have been asking people who have successfully done it with their windows machines to provide a binary... it would help me alot...

sorry :(

Miners who need more than 32 threads:

The bug has been fixed! You can now mine with more than 32 threads (the limit was set to 128, I hope that is sufficient!).

The new source code is also in a Github repo. You should be able to pull. Give it a try! https://github.com/KillerByte/memoryminer

YEA BABY!
2 blocks in a row :)

ALSO: We just mined 2 blocks in a row. Hooray!

ALSO2: We have a little problem with payouts which will delay them until tomorrow. The user balances seem to be incorrect, so they will be recalculated. Sorry for the delay.

Merry Xmas Guy,

How to remove 1GB limit, I have match more!

I do not believe that it will improve your speed to raise the limit. That would be a question for FreeTrade since I am not an expert on the mining process.

Pool is back online

Sorry for the downtime. I think I might have finally nailed the freezing bug. Either way... notice the speed improvement! The pool is loading much faster now and can process more shares quickly.

Tomorrow is Christmas, so I will not be working on the code in the morning. Also, a potential huge miner improvement may be coming! (like, a huge improvement that will fix the issues with Windows, not accepted shares, and show stats).

Anyway, sorry about the tough server upgrade.

Payouts should execute within 30 minutes so long as the pool doesnt crash. 800+ MMC is ready to do so. :)

Whats up with the payout?

The pool is pretty much down right now... so payouts cannot occour. I am still working on figuring out why it is freezing... some JSON-RPC issue or something.
