BitShares Community wants it developers to live with constant feat in not be paid. The believe this constant fear we make better faster code, bit it does not. It allow adds unnecessary stress to an already stressful job. Other communities use carrots for their coders, we prefer using the stick.
When BTS has millions of dollars to waste on and the devs was paid handsomely and big things fake news came out frequently , BTS still didn't beat LTC . How do you explain that ?
Doge market cap is multiple times of BTS with no development at all , how do you explain that ?
Ethereum is crazy nowadays , with more features than BTC . But do you honestly believe Ethereum could have even a slight change of replacing Bitcoin's marketcap ?
At the end of the day , marketcap is not decided by features/codes/development , but the capitals willing to bet on it .
Doge market cap went back up because they started merge mining with LTC.

Could we create a bond asset that converts 1:1 to bts. The funds from the bond asset can be used by for the bot that the committee controls. The reserve pool could then be used to only pay dividends to the bond based on the performance on the bot. This would cut down on the risk of the funds in the reserve pool. The bond holders assume the risk and the network only has to pay out when there is a profit.

Bts would only be used to back bts. UIA such as open.btc will use the collateral of the issuer.

I think there should be a light and dark option, but not too many for OL. OL needs to define a color scheme and make it part of its branding. When there are many wallet, color branding is going to be important.

This is indeed a funny picture . Instead of building a house like the normal way on the ground , workers lift the house up and hold it up , and the house will be destroyed and hit the ground the hard way once the workers decided to leave . Workers don't sign up for building the house on the ground , they sign up for holding the house in the air . They're working really hard to hold the house in the air .
Tell me this is the kind of house that you'll feel comfortable to pay for .
You guys even interpret cartoon wrong. The is showing the workers are the foundation to build on. I guess the don't build houses with a foundation in China, that's why everything's falls apart so much over there.
