MemoryCoin / Re: [CMO] My Candidacy for CMO as a Team Leader
« on: January 27, 2014, 05:07:58 pm »

I've been working for marketing activities since the beginning of 2014.

Your experience is off the charts! Surprised you aren't retired yet! You have my vote.

Thank you Stalemate.
If someone that isn't trying to undermine me and get elected to do my role would ask these questions, I'd gladly answer.
A little hint (and that's the end of our discussion where I'm concerned) - read this thread thoroughly - you'll see most of your questions answered.
Like I said - "Note to self - Don't reply to Stalemate" as it appears to be a stalechat.
Good luck in your campaign... I guess saying "You did nothing" and "I'm guiding you" is a good strategy for getting elected.

As I said before, you should write what you accomplished in the first post cause what you have promised and what you have done is not matching. Besides, most community members don't have time to browse around various posts. And not answering me is a good choice, too. That will increase suspects and will make you questioned much more. Fine for me. Moreover, I'm not asking most of my questions answered, I'm asking all of my questions answered. Yes, "you did nothing" since you didn't write it in the appropriate place.

One more thing : All of succesful mobile app developers keep growing their own business. From this perspective, you are either unsuccesful in mobile app development or lying about your background.

You guys are all under qualified for these positions, hence why you all fail to deliver and the coin is going down the tubes. Playing a CxO isn't the same as being one.
What will I do differently?
There is no question that the biggest failure of this coin is its marketing.
While Belltown's work on memorycoin.info is great, I really see this as the first very small step towards marketing the coin.
I will use the salary for this role to:
1. Recruit a team with marketing background
2. Create bounties for reputable bloggers, graphic designers and other media related personnel to help level-up the coin.
3. When the time comes, use the grant for actual advertising withing the crypto-currency community (we're not there yet, but might be there in 2-3 months).
4. Use my mobile industry experience to create some useful MMC2 apps that will distinguish us from the other crypto-currencies.
5. Create giveaways and faucets and publish them on forums so that more users download the wallet and join the community.
6. I will not, under any circumstance take the whole salary for myself claiming I worked hard for it. This salary should be divided between several members / outsourced for marketing purposes and earned through hard work and that's exactly what I intend to do.

Could you please write down in the first post what you did exactly for this position? I've deeply studied your efforts and questioning your abilities and work done in the last 2 weeks.
Let's see...

1. Recruit a team with marketing background.
You have been elected for 2 weeks now. I don't see any real marketing team announcement. Who are they?

2. Create bounties for reputable bloggers, graphic designers and other media related personnel to help level-up the coin.
You created a bounty thread in bitcointalk forum for miners, not reputable bloggers, graphic designers and other media related personel and gave each miner MMC worth below 1 USD (5 MMC). There are some other bounties but the biggest one was 20 MMC, i guess for mining pool test. Compared to 8886 MMC which you have gathered from the start of your CMO term, that is a bit poor and you gave bounties to wrong people.

3. When the time comes, use the grant for actual advertising withing the crypto-currency community (we're not there yet, but might be there in 2-3 months).
That was firstly mentioned in my CMO thread and I don't know what you mean by withing. Besides, 2-3 months is too long in cryptocoin markets.

4. Use my mobile industry experience to create some useful MMC2 apps that will distinguish us from the other crypto-currencies.
Could you give us some examples of mobile apps you created before? Because we don't see any MemoryCoin mobile app yet. The community needs transparency.

5. Create giveaways and faucets and publish them on forums so that more users download the wallet and join the community.
Another giveaway? Why? A faucet is already done but not by you. This is definately very poorly written campaign promise and I still can't believe how you are elected with that.

6. I will not, under any circumstance take the whole salary for myself claiming I worked hard for it. This salary should be divided between several members / outsourced for marketing purposes and earned through hard work and that's exactly what I intend to do.
Better be like you said but I see you gathered 8666 MMC but there is only 2171 MMC left in your voting wallet. If these 6000 MMC is spent, could you please give more details where it is?

Let me summarize what you have done for this community in 2 weeks : Nothing..
Because you should write down your activities in the first post, not hide in some middle posts so people can clearly see what you have been doing.
I may be harsh on my critics but this will help you work harder, otherwise you'll lose the position against someone else (probably me).

Just answer his questions. Don't you remember what happened the last time someone tried to dodge legitimate questions?
Answer the questions, let him get elected and then ask him the same questions so you can get elected. It will be one big circle jerk.

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya.

Are there child labor laws with crypto currencies? You might want to check into that FreeTrade. Wouldn't want the Labor board or Labor ministry (wherever you are located) knocking on your door.

My name is Max Power, and I have told FreeTrade that I am his enemy and shall take over everything he has, and takeover all MemoryCoin positions:

pwrcoin.blogger.com

FreeTrade has told me that he shall never support my plans, although he has not told you this yet by acknowledging my signal:

FreeTrade should send 1 vote to: MAXBNDTVdjbCwBwSDU7SCuMBUVcm49afD9
http://pwrcoin.blogspot.com/2014/01/shall-we-play-game.html

His Officers or any other member of the human community may send votes or donations to indicate whether they believe FreeTrade is working for Max Power's Evil Laboratory for World Domination:

http://pwrcoin.blogspot.com/2014/01/distributed-progamming-interface.html

-----------------------------------
Basically: A poll service / community fact-checking / trolling to see if you think FreeTrade, Max Power, and NewMine are the same posters based on our known / confirmed blockchain activity.

It's meant to be thought through like game theory between polar opposites, rather than taken seriously...in order to improve understanding of trade operations...while trying to have fun.

Think of DPR and the Sicilian.

Mad as a bag of hammers.

I fully support this decision.

MemoryCoin / Re: MMCPOST - Community Project Plan
« on: January 18, 2014, 01:08:05 am »
Seraphim, Isaac, and I are working on developing MMCPost.com and would like input from the community on features / etc.  Distributed project management is somewhat tricky, and distributed autonomous project management is, well...

So the first item is getting community input on general project structure.  There's tons of management systems out there, so parts should be familiar to some, or some may be used to other terminology, etc.  This would be overkill for most small or quick tasks, but MMC may have more and larger projects in the future....

Community Project Plan

The team will have its own development site for brainstorming, and will maintain on-site forum threads as shown below.  The first thread is for general management / status update advice and comments.  A second "procurement" thread will be for general description, site features, and community requests - goals, requirements, etc.  The third would be a "development" thread to outline technical details site implementation, and community technical input or advice.

The difference is difficult to describe without seeing an example, but we'll update and adapt as we go along.

  • Community Project Plan - Project description
  • Community Procurement Specification - Feature requests and site requirements
  • Community Development Specification - Site specification and implementation

The team will have three lead volunteers.  The Project Manager for execution and overall project coordination.  The Community Manager for procurement management and site review.  The Community Developer for technical lead and overall site implementation.

I've volunteered team members for those positions as follows:

  • Project Manager - isaacgoldbourne
  • Community Manager - MaxPWR
  • Community Developer - Seraphim

Please provide any comments on project structure / terminology / etc.
I should have the "Procurement" thread written-up shortly.

Can you not do all of that here?

MemoryCoin / Re: Opinion Vote in the Blockchain
« on: January 17, 2014, 01:13:19 am »
To test out the new voting panel, I want to try an opinion poll.

FTX - FreeTrade - How will it end?

Polonium Poisoning (FSB) - MVTEXFTXsQHka3FU49LCB7q3Zuqdta8xq7
Lone Gunman (CIA) - MVTEXFThCAW7YJxPATyzm2bzcAEeoujaFY
Suicided (MI6) - MVTEXFTaY4gRxnBvADA382cs8CZbaZkvDv
Drowning (Mossad) - MVTEXFTxftwkWdh9sYi6sBirfMvihexE5a
Blunt Trauma (Newmine) - MVTEXFTv6FeMMqBhMSj9oucaBJBj5mTtda
Diabetes (Coca-Cola) - MVTEXFT6zW3gdrDa95fWJMtBdTCpypTudv

Here's two extra addresses if anybody wants to suggest some creative options
MVTEXFTkngw1TZ94RS9mf932wduP4ie3Ts
MVTEXFT4AtdfGuAjRv6wstgK5TocnM5aMq

Use the new voting panel to back your opinion.

You can create new options with vanitygen - post them here, and vote with order of preference too. You can also hold your own poll - create options starting with MVTEXXX where XXX is the code for your poll. I need to write some code to process the results, but you can start voting right away!

Would you like me to carry on?  I let it rest, but you seem to want to continue down this path.
We finally got the truth out of you and I ended my campaign. Shall we keep it this way?

We all were defeated from block 1. This is what you don't get.

The fact that this issue exists is why your coin is so depressed. And this issue would exist regardless of my participation.

I don't feel defeated.
I'm unhappy that this continuing argument appears to be depressing the exchange rate. NewMine, you have made your point - there is no need to keep repeating it. Please stop.

Yet here you are quoting me, repeating me, and continuing the argument.

MegaFarmer, the guy talking the loudest about FreeTrade abusing his coins and fueling Newmines campaign, probably was the same guy who compromised the positions.
So FreeTrade used his power to keep the coins going to the community instead of MegaFarmer's wallet - long before Newmine started campaigning. Who wants to speculate on further connections between Newmine and MegaFarmer?  :)

"Mr. Seraphim, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it.  I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!"

......thanks to being first you've made more than 5-6k MMCs out of it....

Thanks anyways.

Try more like 21k. http://www.chainbrowser.com/memorycoin/address/MVTEcmo2iUnZn5cHJ7SKrhLMwi7EGPfgnq/
That about sums up everything I thought about your performance in this role...
You've made a site that is about 30 minutes work, thanks to being first you've made more than 5-6k MMCs out of it and now your greed doesn't end and you want an additional 1k MMCs? What for exactly? What's the benefit of this site?
Already bought a domain and will recreate a similar site in about 3 minutes.

Thanks anyways.

Do you want to get voted with quotes like that? :P

This is a marketing position right? If it is, you need to stop the negativity and start pumping this baby! If you want votes, you have to play nice! Dont mess with making another website. Hit Reddit, bitcointalk, all the BTC article comment sections and pump pump pump. Tell them about the drama here with the voting and what not. Then post links to all you doings here or start a new thread somewhere. Market this coin.  Take all that negative energy, ball it up and store it somewhere deep inside of you.  ;D

Still waiting FreeTrade

If the only price is a project you believe in, are you willing to put all your how about just 75% MMC into development bounties paid to other developers in exchange for a guarantee you'll be able to guide the coin as you see fit?  Somehow I think the speculative upside has your attention too.

It would be great if you addressed the parts that actually matter instead of just responding to semantics.

Lets assume you spent 1 month of full time work adapting Protoshares (which you were paid to develop) to MemoryCoin.   What do you think is a reasonable amount to pay you for that time in US dollar terms.   What would be a compelling US dollar amount worth of pay be to convince you to give support to your project for say, a year?

and are you really comparing yourself to Satoshi with regards to holdings?   He could easily answer this question, he did not give himself any advantage or number of Bitcoins in the Genesis block of Bitcoin.   That is not true of MemoryCoin, and yes you gave some of those coins to other people but many of them went to you or addresses you control.   To be clear,  you are not willing to publicly share how many MemoryCoins you gave yourself in the Genesis Block of Memorycoin?

He doesn't answer my questions either. Questions that I felt would clear the air and may persuade me to drop my campaign.

I didn't 'crash' MemoryCoin 1

I explained the situation to the Bter exchange and recommended they suspend trading for a short time while the news was absorbed. They didn't want to continue with a coin with no dev support and halted trading altogether.

That is interfering if I ever heard of such a thing.  How long did you wait from being ousted to contacting Bter? Did you offer to work on contract on an as needed basis? I don't know these things as I was not apart of memorycoin 1.  With out these answers, it seems like you couldn't have her so you made sure no one could.

Some coins have a model where a benevolent dev works for free indefinitely on a coin. I don't think that's a sustainable model capable of major growth, and it's not the model here - if that's what you want, there are plenty of coins like that. The MemoryCoin model is development and promotion are paid for through slightly higher inflation, and the shareholders get to vote on who gets paid.

You gave yourself hundreds of thousands of coins and you can't be bothered to develop without a constant stream of pay?

Given that you created Memorycoin from a modified version of Protoshares, something you were paid by an outside company to create - exactly how much time did it take you to adapt protoshares to Memorycoin 2?    Lets assume a month of nothing but working on that conversion full time.   How much is your time worth that your pre-mine is not enough to buy even six months of support from you, especially since any successes you have result in that exponential multiplier?

I'm sure you've done the math, what is the dollar based salary for a year of support from you to maintain this thing you've now created twice.   You don't work for free, so tell us what the price is.

I am curious too. Clear the air.
