yes, there might be more active user stuck than we think. I am frustrated about the importing issues too. I want to continue funding my bts projects but i can acess my funds.

There needs to be a clear guidline what to do if the standart does not work. Everybody got different machines and we still need to get acess to our funds.

@xeroc any other tipps?

When i open the cli_wallet.exe , a command line bock pops up and than disappear. Nothing else is happening.

What CLI Wallet are you using?

Technical Support / Importing 0.9.3c to 2.0
« on: October 19, 2015, 08:15:20 pm »
Hi all,

I have problems to integrate my backup from 0.9.3c to 2.0. I am using windows 7 and i used the CLI to create my backup.

First i tried to update through the Windows light client 2.0 . It took me 15 minutes to look for all my keys on the blockchain. The system crashed after i tried to integrate 151k keys into my wallet. The light wallet client turned white and nothing happend. I could see all my accounts with the different keys.

Second i tried to use open ledger to upload my backup. I went to the option, wallet, and selected import keys and chrome crashed.

Third i tried it with Firefox and crashed at the same spot, looking up my keys for each account on the blockchain. Firefox gave me this error. Skript: https://bitshares.openledger.info/graphene_ui/app.js:22

I tried to follow http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/howto-importing-wallet.html
I also looked at https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-2/releases/tag/v2.15.286

No help.

Any suggestions for me? How can i claim my funds on BitShares 2.0? There is no walk through guide in the forum.

Thank you for your help.

cheers

Interesting project. I like your website. You used the graphics of BitShares very well. Will you build a Fiat-On ramp for Latin america?

I would be interested in a BRL On-ramp. Please send me a msg for further informations.

best regards,

Thank you for the simple explanation of the Open Ledger interface. That will help new users dramatically :) +5%

we definitely need to discuss the UI interface on the next mumble.

The update from 0.9.3c to 2.0 is a mess and we are almost back to the launch of the first BitShares Blockchain.... We missed a great chance here...

wallet_regenerate_keys ACCOUNT-NAME 10500

Did the trick for me. I see my full balances again and i also see my open orders and short positions.

I do not have the names yet, so let us see what happens after the rescanning of the wallet.

Hi Xeroc, i have similar problems with my client 0.9.3c on windows 7.

I upgraded from 0.9.2 to 0.9.3c . The blockchain stopped updating after the update so i decided to re scan the whole chain again. It took around 4 days for that.

Now i noticed that some funds are missing in the client. I also miss certain trades in the history at all. However i can find them on the blockchain.

I tried to follow your suggest link and did a full re scan on the fully load blockchain. No updates.

Here is a picture how it looks like in my wallet.

Hope you can help me out here. I heard that with the 2.0 all blockchain transactions will be immigrated, so the money is still there, just my client does not show it correctly. right?

Thanks for your help

I have a similar problem.

I updated the windows desktop client to 0.9.3c and it stopped syncing at 99% , block 3701575 .

However the client is updating the current existing blocks.. Any ideas what to do? I got my backups for 2.0 already.
