Technical Support / Re: Wallet Recovery Service (3rd Party)

I have tried that and it won't recognize the private key.  You had recognized a problem with the keys a couple of years ago and contacted me to move my assets to a new wallet (olnsk17).  I am assuming the problem I had with the account still exists for the PP UIA's.  It is account oljwk56 with sub accounts jwk56 and bitpilotace each holding 100 PP UIA's.  Can you not do the same thing to move those as we did for the other assets?  I'm not sure what to do otherwise.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Jamie

Xeroc.  A couple of years ago you contacted me to tell me I had a problem with private keys and you helped me move assets to a new wallet.  I had to leave 200 Peerplays UIAs in the wallet as the Peerplays wallet was not yet available to move UIAs.  I have tried moving them to a Peerplays wallet but it is not recognizing private keys so I could use your help again to finishing moving these to a new PP wallet.  Can you help or recommend someone who can?

Peerplays / Peerplays UIA transfer to new Peerplays wallet
« on: November 11, 2017, 11:20:55 pm »
Hope someone can assist.  I have 200 Peerplays UIAs in an old Openledger wallet and I am trying to  transfer to Peerplays wallet.   Will not accept my private keys.  Xeroc had to help me transfer other assets from this wallet because of a private key issue.  Can someone help with this for a fee.
Thanks Jamie

Technical Support / Not able to log in on my BitShares Account.
« on: September 22, 2017, 01:32:01 pm »
Bitshares ccount not showing a login icon on header and when I try to do a trade the login box does not appear.  All other information is there and working.  My Openledger wallet is working fine.
Any Suggestions as to what to do to open my account so I can buy more BTS

On the same topic I have an older BTS 2.0 wallet which still holds my Peerplays UIA.  I have several accounts within the wallet that hold PP tokens.  I have to provide private key(s) to move them to peerplays wallet.  Where do I locate these keys (can't find them) and are they the same as the brainkey.
Also for someone who knows the new Peerplays wallet has a hash tag for the password.  I could not find any way to change the password.  Does anyone know if that can be done?

So if I was to collateralize it with my BTS I should be getting floor price and not trading price. What is the method to exchange collateral for Hero's other than the trading site

Not skilled in trading and I am interested in collateralizing HERO's but I am confused.  I thought the HERO was a stable FPA which would be valued based on the 1913 US$ with 5% APR.  Value would continue to just increase based on formula.  Now I see that there is a buy/sell wall and values change with demand.  Does not make it stable at all.  Can someone please enlighten me.

Are HERO's now available and how does one go about collateralizing them in the wallet?  I have an OpenLedger wallet.

Technical Support / Re: BTS still stuck on old blockchain
« on: March 21, 2016, 10:01:42 pm »
Thanks for the suggestions and help. As suggested above I have now downloaded the blockchain file into a  MEGA cloud account that I set up.  Not sure what I'm doing but how do I connect my old client to this blockchain file to access the remaining BTS?

I transferred the BTS to my .9.3 wallet after the last block i was able to synch so those most recent BTS are not showing in the client and i just cannot seem to get past that block.  It shows severe network problems with low delegate participation rate which is what it has been telling me for the last 301 days.  Any other way to download just the blocks I need to get the BTS onto the old wallet so that I can access and transfer?

Technical Support / BTS still stuck on old blockchain

I still have about 80,000 BTS on the old chain that I cannot transfer because my client WILL NOT synch past block 2605505.  Is there another way to remove those BTS from the old wallet to my 2.0 wallet.  I'm a technical idiot so it should not be too difficult a process or I get lost and frustrated.  Have managed to move all my BTS that was purchased prior to block 2605505.  Any suggestions.  I have tried numerous times to delete and reboot but it still stops synching at same block.

Openledger / Re: Open Ledger Wallet stuck in loading mode
« on: November 14, 2015, 03:34:59 pm »
Thanks for your assistance.  I could not figure out how to reset API so I did a reset of Firefox which cleared the loading page but moved me to an "Application initialization issues" page showing the API connection  as wss://bitshares.openledger.infor/ws and that is not connected.  hitting the retry button temporarily moves me to the loading page and then returns as not connected.  Error msg showing both connections was interupted while loading and that Firefox cannot establish a connection to the server.
This appears to be a problem with my computer and I guess I need to take it to a technician to work thru it.
