I am having the same problem.  I had created and funded an account on the web wallet a few weeks ago. Now that the upgrade has come out I can't gain access to the wallet I get the error "Transaction was not signed. Do you have a private key? [no_signers]". What hoops do I have to jump through to gain access again? I tried uploading the wallet backup but since I don't have the old downloaded wallet (was just using openledger) it looks like I don't have the "BTS 0.9.X KEY EXPORT FILE" which isn't the .bin.

Yours is a different problem, it means the wallet you're using does not contain the private keys for that account. Did you create a new wallet? Switch browsers/pc?

I am using the light wallet and I have already imported.  Why doesn't it work?

NVM imported into open ledger and it worked there.

I have a feeling this is going to be used for MAS.

CASPER rewards people for moving toward consensus and punishes those who deviate. It is claimed that the incentives are structured to reward some deviation and incentivise participants to defect from attempted collusions.  I have my doubts on this, but for now I will assume this is true.

Sorry but already being implemented. Your describing Augur and Truthcoin Hivemind. :o

General Discussion / Re: Why I like Ethereum [BLOG POST]
« on: February 11, 2016, 09:08:00 pm »
Just now read the article and wanted to make a comment. Particularly in regards to what you'd do differently. Doing all of this in memory kind of defeats the purpose of having stored data. It adds speed, that is true, but there are problems in regards to having truly decentralized applications and to have them be verifiable. On the other hand, the way Bitshares operates it would likely not be an issue mainly due to the way that the consensus algo operates. As for the merkle tri-graph, I would like to hear why it is redundant. It is very much expensive, that is true, but if you want a truly decentralized and trustless application, it is somewhat necessary. But again, I can see why you'd do it this way due to the Bitshares algo as the goal in the algo is not to be trustless, just to be decentralized. There are tradeoffs to everything. In any case. Hope all is well.

btw, everyone please congratulate vor as he was hired by gavin to continue his work on solidity. :)

Is this a Possibility for BITSHARES?!
I am holding onto BTS because I believe that along with Ethereum, it is going to be the only other cryptocurrency 2.0 project to make a difference...and I actually see the model of DPOS melding quite well into the new Ethereum Serenity model if I understand it correctly.

@fav @kenCode don't you think you guys are over reacting.  If it somehow goes through (the proposal), then BM can vote in his delegates and restore the higher fee.

Are you exclusively using Bitshares?  Can you direct me to your website?

General Discussion / Is Bitshares attempting to get on Microsoft Azure?

http://www.bizjournals.com/newyork/news/2016/01/21/why-microsofts-blockchain-service-has-20-companies.html

Using products like Consensys is proving so popular that Microsoft now has 20 other partners waiting to have their blockchain products admitted to the Azure platform.
To meet the demand, Microsoft currently, employs three full-time people at the Times Square office where the project is being managed, labs and showcases are hosted, and partners and customers can gather.

This is a great idea and would get Mike Hearn a peak into Bitshares!

Empirical not using empirical data.

https://www.quandl.com/data/CRYPTOCHART/ETC-Ethercoin-BITCOIN-Price

On average before the spike up ether coin was worth .004 per btc.  At 350 dollars per btc this equates to a value of $1.4 on average for ether coin.  You have to remove the spike up datapoints because augur is not in that behavior pattern in the least bit (eg. It has not announced launch date or is even in beta testing).  Therefore it fits the former pattern and hypothesis that excludes all the run up in value due to launch date.

Can't wait for Augur to start trading on Poloniex so I can short it.

For what reason you'll short augur?  Why do you think there not legitimate?
