Skandinavisk (Scandinavian) / Re: Cash out - Alternativer til Coinbase?
« on: January 18, 2018, 07:54:37 am »
Hei.

There is not that much to talk about now.

The product is stable.  No new features are being added other than maybe stealth at some point.  Not really any new projects.

Personally I think steem is just a giant circle jerk of people that post shit content in the hopes of getting upvoted by a whale.  The people that are making money are usually chicks who post half naked pictures while useful post get completely buried by crap.

The whole scheme of making money to like posts on the internet is extremely shady to me.  The pump was also a giant just a manipulation of CMC.

You have the facts completely wrong.  Plus you have zero vision.  Zero.

Your probably right tbone.  I guess i should just go over to steem and post pictures of naked chicks to try to earn some cash....

Browsing the top posts, can't see any naked chicks trying to earn cash.
Browsing Active, i still can't see any naked chicks trying to make cash.
Browsing new, i think i saw a sundress somewhere but no naked chicks trying to earn cash.

The top content is either cryptocurrency articles/news, political views, art or life stories as of now.
Steemit is not full of softporn as you nod towards, steemit contains what we want it to contain. The majority as of now upvote quality content that brings something back to the community.

That's not the purpose of Steemit. It gives people a voice without being afraid of getting censored by the government or other parties. There are more features coming which makes steemit more than just another social media,  as of now it's not like that either. No other form of social media site pays the user for their original content as steemit does.
I for one love steem, i don't make any money on it but i enjoy reading and commenting on the content i wouldn't find or see anywhere else.

A info graphic explaining the vote system in a simple manor would be awesome!
The process of voting is already explained well on the webpage but just flashing it out there in a colorful manor would be appealing for newcomers.

No pictures as this was an local e-meeting. Was planning to use skype but they had a limit on 10 persons so had to use teamviewer. Was great since i could show off the wallet and show them how easy it was.

Will take pictures next meeting which is planned to be a physical meetup.

Meeting went great.
We were 22 people attending and we talked for about 2 hours this session.

We got alittle off topic but the main points were:

*Keyhotee, how important it is to own your identity online and the risks of having personal information laying around on several sentralised servers.
*Bitshares X, Why such a system is better than banks.
*Bitshares, we went over why Bitshares are better than Bitcoin and other alternative coins.
*How we are watched today in Norway by the government and what means they use to keep controll over money flow.
*A lot of talk regarding the banks unsatisfied greed.
*How Cryptovaluta can change the world and make it much easier for people without banks nearby.

Overall i think it went great, people asked questions and i responded the best i could.
Will have another meet-up soon as people found it very interesting.

Some issues here to.

Tried to install, installed everything except for the wallet itself. (pool miner and such were there.)
Opened installer again and repaired, everything works fine now.
