It's safe since it downloads the source directly from the official BitShares repository on Github.  That's why the sha256sums line has "SKIP" on it since the contents of the Github repository are not necessarily static.  Unfortunately there is no checksum listed for the source code on the 0.6.2 release (https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares/releases/tag/bts%2F0.6.2), but you could try the 64-bit Linux binary which does have a checksum.  I have not tried the binary myself.

Besides the additional python2 makedepends in the AUR PKGBUILD, that PKGBUILD is identical to the PKGBUILD which I have used several times to build BitShares on my Arch Linux system, and my expected BTS balance appears intact.

I believe that I successfully re-registered my Keyhotee Founder ID since the points showed up when I entered my information, but when I click on my identity under Contacts, the yellow box says "Unregistered".

BitShares AGS / Re: agsexplorer.com is out of sync again... FYI

agsexplorer.com may be out of sync because donschoe's AGS parser is out of sync.

The AGS parser demo site does not appear to be updating at this moment.

The timestamp of the last BTC donation - 2014-02-05 05:53:09 UTC
The timestamp of the last PTS donation - 2014-02-05 07:27:13 UTC

I have personally made both BTC and PTS donations since the timestamp of the most recent parsed transaction, so I would expect the timestamps to be more recent.

keyhotee git commit 4ee8f688006e7e0f0e33edd01cf0acc92090ade4
BitShares git commit 11fb258a0a2a415fdbca18befca103001080e3b8
fc git commit ff2173c8d60629a278e48614baaa292463c572cf

I may have figured out how to reproduce the issue of duplicate messages in the inbox (issue #238), but I will need to re-create my profiles since they no longer open after login (issue #237).

I received two separate messages that were sent in the same minute from one of my contacts.  I closed and re-opened the profile, and those two messages multiplied to 7 messages (1 of them unread).  Repeating this process, the messages multiplied further to 19 to 60 to 113 to 226 to 430; each time, one of the messages was unread.  Finally I deleted all the duplicate messages, intending to keep the two original messages.  I closed and re-opened my profile and noticed many instances of these messages on the console:

The original two messages had disappeared from this profile.  I closed and tried to re-open this profile, but Keyhotee hung indefinitely until I killed the process.

Earlier when my two profiles were functioning properly, I sent 3 messages within a 1-2 minute period from my Founder ID in one profile to a spare identity in the other profile.  When I opened the spare identity profile, I received all 3 messages.  I closed and re-opened the profile, and there were 6 messages (3 of them unread).  I'm guessing that sending multiple messages from one ID to another in a relatively short period of time (less than 15 minutes, if I recall correctly based on the first time this happened earlier this month) somehow contributes to the duplication of inbox messages for the recipient.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Keyhotee crashed when I attempted to delete the hundreds of duplicate messages.  Here is the console output:

Question: regarding broadcasting e-mail in version 0.5.2. I cant seem to be able to send a message to broadcast emails. When pasting a public ID in the send slot nothing happens. The send button don't get active. Has any one of you guys managed to broadcast from this latest version? Send me a message: 5YXH8GvvBDLxu1tQJzHECEw7F8WynGeK21R863wRb9ksmHvzVd

Message sent.

I noticed the same behavor as you described in the Keyhotee client that I compiled yesterday (2014-01-20) on Linux; simply pasting your public key into the "To:" field in the Mail message window does not activate the send button.  I worked around this issue by adding your public key to a new contact, then putting that contact in the "To:" field.

I'm not sure if this would be considered a bug, but it's not what I would expect from an email client, where I can copy and paste an email address without adding it as a contact.  It might not be an issue once we are communicating using the actual Keyhotee IDs instead of public keys.

I did like you describe here and sent you a test message. Seams to work. Please respond when/if you see it.

Yes, I saw your message and replied to it in Keyhotee.  I'm glad that it works.

Keyhotee is not compiling successfully for me at the moment.

[/quote]
That'll be fixed soon, you caught me in the middle of some commits back forth between platforms, but it shouldn't matter anyways, that error only affects building the founder name registration database server (which isn't part of keyhotee really).

I confirm that Keyhotee is now compiling and running as expected.

I re-tried unlocking this profile today with the same result of hanging indefinitely.  I moved the hanging profile to another directory and re-created my profile and ID without experiencing any hang between unlocking my profile and displaying the main window.

I have saved the hanging profile just in case a potential solution needs testing in the future.

I have also successfully sent and received messages between profiles using different public keys and cannot reproduce the issue of duplicate messages in my inbox.

Keyhotee / Re: Alpha Keyhotee Bug Reporting in this thread.
« on: January 12, 2014, 04:33:17 am »
As of this git commit, I see "invalid ID/FounderKey Pair" on a yellow background between my Keyhotee ID and the gold "Keyhotee Founder" banner when I view my own contact.  Previously I saw "registered with 319.5 pts" where the invalid ID message now displays.  I am using the same Keyhotee profile that I created prior to my previous post in this thread.

Looks like the Keyhotee Founder ID registration server went down, and I believe this was probably your issue (Keyhotee queries that server to see if your founder id is registered). I looked at the commits and didn't see anything that should have caused a problem. Can you launch Keyhotee to see if it's reporting properly again now?

It is reporting properly now - "Registered with 319.5 points".  Thanks for the quick fix.  Does this mean that I do not necessarily need to fill out http://invictus-innovations.com/founder-sign-up/ unless my public key changes due to creating a profile with a different brain wallet key phrase?

Opening Keyhotee again, the Inbox shows several duplicates of messages that I received during my last Keyhotee session approximately one hour ago, all with the same received time as the original messages.  I estimate 5-6 duplicate messages.

I closed and re-opened Keyhotee, and now I counted 52 (!) duplicate messages, again all with the same received time as the original messages.

I closed and re-opened Keyhotee a third time, and now I count approximately 139 duplicate messages with the same received time.

Here is the diagnostic log for my most recent Keyhotee session:

As of this git commit, I see "invalid ID/FounderKey Pair" on a yellow background between my Keyhotee ID and the gold "Keyhotee Founder" banner when I view my own contact.  Previously I saw "registered with 319.5 pts" where the invalid ID message now displays.  I am using the same Keyhotee profile that I created prior to my previous post in this thread.
