Alright. I'm looking forward to seeing what Keyhotee can grow into!

92
So I'm hearing a lot about this reputation point system, and if you scam you throw all this reputation away, which raises a few questions:

1. If someone scams another user in Keyhotee, how exactly can the scammed user effect the scammers reputation? What if he didn't scam and this other guy is just string the pot?

2. If someone has a mining rig, which can grow his reputation quickly, whos to say he wont scam a user with his account which has a high reputation, create a new ID, and scam again? I'm sure that system could be very profitable.

3. (connected to question 2) Assuming question 2 does happen, why is it that these people with mining rigs, which can grow their IDs reputation quickly, are more trusted throughout the web?

4. What if a scam is done outside of Keyhotee, but the scammer uses his Keyhotee (high reputation) as a vouch?

Just a few hitches I've thought about over the last week, hope theres an answer for these!

1) The resulting reputation system is another layer for future development.   But for now think of it like a forum handle, your name is known in the community and people begin to trust it.  If I were to suddenly 'scam' someone the accusations could be found with google and others would come to know me as a scammer.  My only option is to reset my ID.

What if the accusation is false? How are we to determine if a user actually scammed, or if the accuser is lying?

Also unrelated,  when can we see screenshots of Keyhotee? I'm very interested in seeing the layout and how everything will work. I'm also working on gathering the money for a founders ID ($175 scammed in lingo, another $700 loaned out).

At the rate I'm going with CPU mining and the difficulty increases, I won't make 10PTS before the Founders ID deadline. Hope to get on this GPU mining as soon as it becomes available so I can get one of these IDs, and hopefully make more to fund my LTC investment.

I regret not looking into PTS at the beginning of the month, thought it was just another alt currency...

I finally decided to look into what this Keyhotee was and I have to say I'm very excited for this thing to take off! I was going to mine 10 PTS to sell and add to my LTC fund but I'm going to put it towards a reserved ID instead.

Just one question though, it might have been already answered but... How do you know these companies will adopt Keyotee?

As always, you must grow a large user base and then the big name companies will come to you.  We believe that concern over the exposed abuses of untrustworthy and/or tyrannical governments and the network effect of each new adopter encouraging their associates to interact with them through Keyhotee's private channels will grow the user base virally.

Also when will we be able to buy stock in the company? This is something I'd really like to get into before big names get their greedy hands on lol

Dam the first day I did this I got 0.5 PTS, but it was set to the donation address. Day 2 I make 0.39 PTS which I got this time, and now I've made 0.31 PTS. Difficulty is rising like a mofo. Hope PTS is worth a lot soon...

So where's this payout? Been 5 1/2 hours and nothing is in my wallet, and my wallet address is up there this time.

The default address in the miner points to our donation address and the funds at that address are from multiple users and not just your mining.   If you did not replace the address with one from your wallet, then there is nothing I can do to help at this point.

Maybe you should have included that bit of information in your OP? And how to change the address? There's no information for any of that.

You are right... I did post it here: http://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=236.0   but started a new thread and just assumed everyone saw it from the last thread.

Well that's  0.503978 PTS down the drain... Think of that as a donation towards you adding that info to the OP of this thread, and future threads.

I've never mined PTS before so this and this miner is very new to me.

It looks like that address is in your payout list :/

Yes, and when the blocks mature it will show up in your wallet.   Sometime in the next couple of hours.

Oh so the addresses you posted aren't the actual wallet addresses, but miner addresses of a sort?

The address you specify on the command-line with your miner is the address I pay to.  The balances above are the next payout that you will receive in a couple of hours.  The balance you see in your miner currently is adding up to the payout for tomorrow night.

I just ran the pool_miner application when I downloaded coyoteminer and let it run for almost 24 hours now. My PTS wallet address and the address your paying to don't match. But in my miner it says the address above in your payout list, which has me confused now. I can take a screenshot if you'd like?

Umm I mined for a full 24 hours now, and I'm at 165 shares atm (was over 500 but assuming shares reset after payout) and I have nothing in my wallet. Also my address isn't in your payout list. The address In the miner that I see doesn't match my wallet address so whats up? Am I just confusing myself or is something wrong?
