Technical Support / Invested a while ago, been out of the loop for years.
« on: February 01, 2018, 08:15:35 am »
I was looking through my emails regarding cryptocurrencies to see if there were assets that I had forgotten about. I found a draft with my Keyhotee brain-key as well as my Keyhotee founder's ID confirmation ($200-$250 investment for that if I remember correctly). Is there fruit to bear?

keyhoteeid must be lower letter I think ... also try to quote all parameters with ""

another approach would be to run the command without parameters and enter them as asked for

edit:// worst case scenario: wait for latest keyhotee build and use that to EXPORT the private key (it's a brand nw feature :) )

I've tried lowercase and still not valid, and I tried with and without parameters. If no one else is having this issue why am i?

Go install keyhotee and try to register your account there ... Install the latest version .. maybe it already has the feature to export private keys directly.

I have Keyhotee on my computer and it's the version released on April 2nd , which according to the main thread, is the latest version. I'm registered and have been for some time now.

Something must be wrong because my wallet is completely synced and it's still saying my ID is invalid. the code I'm entering is....

Code: [Select]
wallet_import_keyhotee <firstname> <middlename> <lastname> <brainkey> <keyhoteeid>

LMFAO I'm an idiot.

wallet isn't synced yet...

Thanks for the help anyways, I need to sleep and hopefully the part of my brain that wasn't working turns back on  :P

Technical Support / Re: BitsharesX Account?
« on: August 19, 2014, 03:47:35 am »
Well, I'm only guessing, but if your Keyhotee id is "Justhayden" with a capital "J" maybe try that?

Nope same thing. Might be a bug where my Founder ID wasn't added to the genesis block...

Your Keyhotee id is reserved for you AS A keyhotee Founder in the BitSharesX blockchain - but capital letters are not allowed  by the code.

So "justhayden" is reserved for you. Nobody else has squatted that name.

Keyhotee Founders Claim your BTSX

Yes I figured that out about 10 minutes ago but it's saying "justhayden" is not a valid keyhotee id :/ It is though.

Sorry, I'm not a very technically proficient person so you must explain things clearly and simply to me.

When you say  "it's saying "justhayden"" - what is "it's" that your are referring to?

In the BitsharesX console I must enter the command "wallet_import_keyhotee <firstname> <middlename> <lastname> <brainkey> <keyhoteeid>" but when I add "justhayden" as my keyhotee id, it says

"20017 invalid_name: invalid name
Invalid Keyhotee name!
    {"keyhoteeid":""}
    bitshares  wallet.cpp:4183 bts::wallet::wallet::import_keyhotee
error creating private key using keyhotee info."

Technical Support / Keyhotee ID Invalid Trying To Import To BitsharesX
« on: August 19, 2014, 03:04:47 am »
Alright I've been away waiting on the development of Keyhotee, but it looks like BitsharesX got here first. I just got the wallet and it is asking me to make an account, so I enter "justhayden" as my account name, and it says that username is already in the blockchain. I'm not sure if someone randomly chose my username as their own, or mine is already in there because I am a Keyhotee Founder.

Which one is it and what should I do, since my Keyhotee ID is "Justayden".

Figured it out but I'm being told "justhayden" is not a valid Keyhotee name...

General Discussion / Re: Very Confused

When XT launches there will be an XT-specific wallet into which you can import your BTC/PTS wallet and claim your shares. Same with every other DAC. Eventually Keyhotee will be a mega-wallet that can hold all your different assets, but keyhotee only concerns itself with the client side of all the DACs.

In my case I won't be able to claim my shares with my PTS/BTC wallet since I paid USD for my founders ID. Will there be some sort of process where just the ID can claim my shares?

Yeah =[

XT is being made liquid ASAP.

When it is will there be a public wallet, and will we be able to hold it in Keyhotee? I'm assuming there will be an allocation process for the different share holders?

This would also need to be made very user friendly.

Still we need one of these DACs (preferably BTSX) done and finished to reassure investors of their investment. Same goes with any product/market in the investing world.

We need something asap...

Keyhotee is not a DAC and your investment from the keyhotee ID was always for bitshares DACs - your keyhotee ID will get preallocated shares in XT, ME, DNS, etc. There's nothing to "claim" within keyhotee itself except that you get a more special username.

Well ya I know Keyhotee isn't a DAC and my investment was for future bitshares DACs, but it seems things are just getting piled onto something that isn't finished yet, and you're working from the top rather than the bottom. At first it was just Keyhotee, PTS, BTS, and AGS being developed, but now there are over a dozen projects in the works that are slowing down the earlier developments.

There are too many things to keep track of that I literally cannot keep track of because I don't know where they are and when/how I will be able to see them.

General Discussion / Very Confused
« on: April 25, 2014, 03:04:36 am »
So last year when I discovered Keyhotee, I decided to invest in a Founders identity with the promise of shares in other DACs. As development has gone on however, when things should get simpler and simpler, things just get more complicated. I'm not a tech savy kind of guy when it comes to developments such as these, but I saw a ton of potential so I got on board. Now with all these new DACs coming around it seems Keyhotee is getting buried, BTSX and AGS claims for Keyhotee founds are getting knotted with these other DACs and it's all very confusing for me.

The domain has changed to Bitshares.org but invictus-innovations.com and invictus.io are still around with no confirmations weather or not they still belong to 3i, and what their uses are, which also confuses me.

What I'm basically saying here is I put money into this and I am not able to see where my investment is going (mainly because everything is broken down into development stages), and no signs of dividends are in sight. I did not use PTS so all I have to go on is my Founders ID.

I'd appreciate if someone could simplify, and solve the concern I'm having.
