It is 100 PTS to register an account (due to scaling of shares), and as far as I know, there is no faucet at this time.

I get this error when trying to access my messages. "Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator."
The whole site was down earlier today. There seem to be some issues they are working on...?

No doubt Methodx is savvy enough to know full well the sorts of reactions it would elicit, (which is a strong point in it's favor as marketing anyway - and as he's written several times here controversy is a great marketing tool) and wouldn't have involved her if he wasn't confident she could roll with the punches.
I just think this is an opportunity for people to think about what kind of diversity DO THEY REALLY WANT in this BitShares ecosystem? The answer to that will greatly affect how they treat new participants.

This thread is starting to embarrass me.
It's disappointing. Rather than feeling like I want to get more fellow women involved in BitShares, it has me more inclined to warn them off forum involvement.
How do we expect to attract top talent if you guys hit them with a cold water hose right out of the gate?

Agreed. Some of these same people are wondering why they're still single, and why there aren't many women in this field. Hmmm...
