One small but nasty glitch:
Drop down list of assets to transfer only has 10 entries. As USD is so far down the alphabet I can't transfer BitUSD using the GUI.

I guess this is what happens when nobody wants to short BitBTC against BTS.

I reckon what people think is: If crypto stays weak, BTS will continue to underperform BTC and if the crypto market recovers Bitcoin will be the first one to rise. Either way it is a bad idea to short BitBTC vs BTS. Thoughts?

CMC is not always accurate regarding the current price. The BitUSD price in $ is calculated using various other ratios like BTS/BTC, BTC/USD etc. and CMC doesn't bother to make sure that these other price ratios have the same timestamp.

This means that when the price of BTS rises quickly externally and BitUSD internally has low volume or doesn't trade at all CMC will show an unrealistically high BitUSD/$ price.

So expired short positions buy [the BitAsset] at feed price and normal short orders want to sell at the feed price. And the reason they are not matched is because of what? Because the expired don't pay transaction fees?
This just doesn't feel right, looks more like a mixup between ≥ and >.

OK, let's see what thin market means in this case. Currently there are about 600 000 BitUSD shorts expired and a few BitGold and BitBTC.

It looks like this is a BUG!

Expired shorts are not matched against unlimited short orders. Selling BitUSD slightly below peg will get matched though.

Looks like about 3/4 of all BitUSD shorts are expired now. If BTS halves again before they get bought up the Black Swan flies in.

Yupp, remember BitCNY has traded for as high as 1.51 and as low as 0.61 CNY on BTER. With actual trades happening.

- Buy BitAsset A with BitAsset B using the direct markets without going via BTS
- Short BitAsset to yourself

- Make sure Short Sell BitAsset Orders with limits above price feed are displayed in the main Sell BitAsset Orders list

I believe without any crutches (like the price feed for BitAssets) this might lead to very asymmetric average settlements.

Wins will settle much closer to 1 than losses to 0.

If I buy in at 0.05 after the prediction is already lost I can gain 100% waiting for somebody to buy at 0.1. This leverage is not possible for won predictions trading at 0.95, so I wouldn't bother with those.
