Just finished listening to bytemaster on the mumble chat about the clear messaging of the "decentralized exchange".
I wholeheartedly agree and very much excited about it.
Now, I would like to propose a free giveaway type of promotion. Some kind of consumer awareness guide for "The Decentralized Exchange Guidebook" (Gotta work on that headline)
If we have this kind of tool, we can use it on bytemaster's blog, bitshares.tv & facebook ads to start a conversation that leads them to signing-up to the exchange. (sales funnel)
Who do you know that would be great at making a short 25 pages report? (Good Graphics if possible)

You have impressed me by being all about metrics. How would you measure how many clicks he would bring us? Generally, economists are an inbred group without very much star power - and having one on the payroll might stroke some of our egos, but not add measurable value to our investments.
I agree on every point you are making. Advertising is very different than PR though.
Hearing an economist say that BitShares is legit is different from hearing it from a clerk in a grocery store.
No advertising money can replace social proof. This is why celebrity endorsements are huge (and they do work in terms of sales - It's been well proven through thousands of split testing on infomercials).

Just throwing this idea out there.
Robert P. Murphy, for those who don't know, is the most public Austrian Economist.
He wrote a book about Bitcoin and I am sure that he would love to be paid by the blockchain. :-)
If anyone here knows him personally, please speak out.

I appologise in advance for the silliness of the question...Not sure how this works. When I register it has a field blog URL. does it make sense to put https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/?r=mf-tzo ?
Does this triber will then be linked to my fb and every time someone clicks on the above URL from friends will be shown that I referred them? Can I include 2 blogs i.e the bitshares.tv as well? How do I do that?
Or I misunderstood completely?
Anyone can share anyone's rss in our tribe. But I personally paid so that you can all add me to your "Auto-Share" list. My RSS is synchronized with bytemaster and cn-members feed. (See edited first post on this tread)
