General Discussion / What are the features for Bitshares version 1.0 ?
« on: April 13, 2015, 03:58:20 pm »
Please let us know some features for v.1?
Does it have bond market?
Can we short below the peg?
Is the 30 days short auto cover going to remove?

In the coming 1.0
Does the 30 days short auto cover going to remove?
Can we short below the peg?

We need a business opportunity inside the wallet, one is lending business for traders.
Like I can lend my bitUSD so traders can short any market trading bitUSD at any price they want with no cover expiration as long as they continue to pay the % fee daily.
Then I can earn daily % of interest with % fee to bitshares as well.  Like how bitfinex, com works, but it is better from decentralized exchanger.

Another business opportunity  is insurance to lenders.

How nice to invest more fiat money if we have this features in the wallet.

just my +5%

Any rap artists with gold teeth and saggy pants is my cue.  :)

That is my Bitshares vision too, but the problem is most of the Bitshares Devs are from US and they are worry to implement something that may encounter govt prosecution.
Thus, Bitshares vision is limited and strict.

Just my few cents

Please someone show some commands how to fix the makefile problem.  Thanks :D

Edit 0: Issue solved in 'no makefile found' by installing leveldb

Edit 1: Now make has error
[ 56%] Building CXX object libraries/blockchain/CMakeFiles/bts_blockchain.dir/chain_database.cpp.o
c++: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-4.8/README.Bugs> for instructions.
make[2]: *** [libraries/blockchain/CMakeFiles/bts_blockchain.dir/chain_database.cpp.o] Error 4
make[1]: *** [libraries/blockchain/CMakeFiles/bts_blockchain.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Edit 2: Memory problem, solved by using swapfile

Same here, I noticed the circles which is an indicator that there are more pages to slide, but could not find the side navigator.
The circles indicator is not common to use as the navigator.
There should be a side navigator and blinking to emphasize that there are more pages to slide.

DAC Sun Never Set.

Introducing the opensource decentralized game platform PLAY.

The latest official release can always be found at this URL:

Upon unleashing, decentralized technology runs on its own, just like the Internet. The power of decentralization crashes any bureaucracy or censorship that tries to stop it.

There's a lot of spelling mistakes and poor english all over  I suggest running a spell check and getting a native english speaker to help.

ie: LEARN ABOUT DETAIL  (English people don't talk like that, they would instead say "VIEW DETAILS")

It says this:

"which can be consider as the door opened to the crypto world and than the entire world."

which means this:

"which can be considered as a new door opened to both the crypto world, as well as, the entire world".

It says:

"Provable fair game and truly random number generation is always be a problem for games, the algorithm from BitShares DPOS, we first can use this service based on blockchain in games."

Instead it should say:

"Provable fair game and truly random number generation has always been a problem for games. Now we can use the algorithms from BitShares DPOS, and use these blockchain features in games today."

There's more.   Anyone else want to take a crack at this?

When launching any site you want to have your best foot forward. There will be no second chances to make a first impression.
