Technical Support / Suggestion in web wallet
« on: November 16, 2015, 03:18:39 am »
Normally if we clicked on webpage we expect something will happen
But with BTS 2 web wallet, if you click there is a lag of 5 -10 seconds before something happen
So the tendency is to click again or abandon that page because you though it did not click properly or the page hang up.
If you could put a small processing icon after clicking, that will prevent any confusion.

You can dump the owner private key of an old BTS account and import that into the new client to claim the BTS-2 account, if that's what you mean.
Copy thanks

You welcome!

About the fee, yes... the transfer fee for normal users is 40 BTS for now; if you are a lifetime member, you should get back 80% of it, so in the end it would be 8 BTS.
Anyway, soon there will be some changes on the fee structure and amount, so try to be active as a community member and you will be able to say what you think and maybe votes some proposal to change the fees!

Thanks for the info, the fee is ridiculous.

Edit: Oh, wallet_export_keys command, thanks :D

Does it work now?

Yes, it recognized it display the amount then I click the Import,  but after importing, It shows only the lists of my account names and have no amount or any info.
There was a popup error message, could not copy it too fast to disappear.

What should I do next?
You have to claim your funds, look in the settings

I tried it again, this time no error, and it imported and claimed the fund successfully.
Thank you for your help. :)

and I'm trying to test to transfer 1 BTS, but the fee is 40 BTS, what the hell is happening here.  :o

How did you create the backup from 0.9.3c ?
You have to use the console with this command: wallet_export_keys [full path to the file]/[file name].json
Yes I did
wallet_export_to_json c:\bitshares093c.json
Same problem

Edit: Oh, wallet_export_keys command, thanks :D

« on: November 15, 2015, 01:05:20 pm »
I have 4 account names that I registered in wallet.bitshares.org
Now I login and only 1 account is showing, the 3 with no amount are not showing.

How to I get these 3 account names?

I created my backup from 0.9.3
Go to bitshares.org/wallet/
Existing account
Import file 0.9.3
I got an error 'Please use a BTS 1.0 wallet_export_keys file instead'
So I clicked Cancel
Then the "Loading Balance Claim" loading page appear and I cannot get rid of it.

The *.exe file is essentially a browser to has the very same (or close to the same) files integrated .. I think i should not be a problem to build one for 32-bit systems ..
I would do it my self but I never looked into cross-platform compilation

I think the wallet can only run in 64bit, otherwise they would build the 32bit exe.
