Man i bought my stash at 825 so Im a little bit down right now but Im not that much worried I cannot anybody wanting to sell at those price for much longer.

"I cant believe people are selling at these prices!" has been said for the last 2 years and since the market cap was over $40mil... So far the sellers, of which the big ones were bts founders, have been on the right side of the trade.

As I said I fell that I did a good buy  at 825 near the all time bottom which for me is almost a perfect buy, is almost impossible.to buy at the lowest level and 825 for me seens good deal, i dont see people pushing down n some volatily pretty much normal, soon we will backup up again n wont look back, I very confident, call me asshole but marks my words n Holllllllllllllld

Meta / Re: The future of the forum?

Chronos will produce some videos and I am planning to start an additional beginners guide for BitShares too. Currently, I am working on updating the main BitShares.org site plus collecting material for a BitShares Wikipedia page. Ken told me that there were a group of people working on that for Bitshares 1.0 but got run over by the fast development of BitShares 2.0 . I would like to pick up here and provide more info for BitShares itself in the next weeks.

The Forum is a important part of the community and has tons of value for beginners and experts.

Im new here but dex is pretty much intuitive for guys that already use exchanges. Understanding bitshares will require take goooooood time reading the docs  it is a must. I took a look at videos from 2014, but you cant really understand it in full without docs n some reasearch in forum n google, for me that is the way it is....complex, but addicted, is good to take time to understamd it, it is like a book

The average worker summary might be something like:

I was working one day, starting to make progress on worker proposal X, but then I got fired the next day so I shifted my priorities and started working on something else, trying to earn a living you know?

Then a week later I got voted back in, so I thought, ok, well I'll give it another try and start working on this project again.

After two weeks passed I was really starting to make progress, but I was once again voted out, so I went back to looking for real work where I'm not hired and fired seemingly at random.

Then one day I noticed my worker was voted back in, but by then I was so tired of the uncertainty that I had just moved on to something else less stressful and uncertain.

Is this not a problem which needs to be addressed?  What developer wants to work in such conditions?

Would it not make more sense to be hired for a fixed term determined by the project scope?

I've sort of had a similar thought in regards to worker proposals. There needs to be a consistency.

Voters have to be voting to a certain degree of commitment the same as the commitment being given by the worker.

That said, there has to be greater consistent reporting by the worker as well.

I would like to see some kind of function in workers that had a reporting period required. Basically just a cmd that had to be executed with only a URL supplied to give a report on work and progress. If this isn't executed then within 48 hours the worker expiration is executes early and his worker ends. At that point he has to open a new worker and convince the shareholders to restart.

Generally if you don't show up to work for 2 days without any explanation or attempt to communicate, you would be replaced. In this instance I think a weekly, biweekly reporting period would be ideal and keep shareholders in the loop to know that progress is being made... if there is the commitment from the blockchain, then this level of reporting to maintain isn't unreasonable to be expected from the worker.

This however would require some additional work that would require a hardfork. I don't think we should hold back on making improvements to the worker proposal space in Bitshares.. it clearly can use improvements. If our tool for improvements to BTS is working well, it will help along all other improvements more efficiently.

Just my 2bts. :)

Man i really like your sugestion,  making something smart to follow workers job makez a lot of sense

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: [Committee Proposal] chronos-youtube
« on: May 24, 2016, 08:07:29 pm »
Hi cronos,

Do you hwve a plan to increase liquidity in dex, if so could you please talk about?

In my opinion i would even pay a market maker using a work proposal to bring great liquidity to dex....but i wouldnt extrapolate much more than 100k bts splitted around all workers so we could keep development, maintenance, low inflation, n wont hurt tbe market trowing a lot of bts on the market daily....it must be sustainable n focus on development n new features should be on what can bring profit to shareholder in the long run.

Would like to hear your plans for ltm n what your ideas about what can bring a increase in revenues n profit to shareholders

Regards

Create a store of value for.long erm?
Which is blank space that we wN to.fill? Will.it bring profit to.shareholders?

Im wondering why there is not a work proposal for.stealth..... We could easyly have a budget 100000bts daily applied  n splited to.xeroc, roadscape + 1 work feature n still low inflation..... When bts price apreciate we could do much more with less money......is possible implement in dex lending n margin? This would bring with liquidity a lot in fees........a system to 0 fees to market makers in dex i think is important too.
