General Discussion / Re: BTS dropped from Shapeshift? Alternatives?

https://www.livecoin.net/ supports BTS and some small coins, which can't be traded on the BTS DEX.

General Discussion / Re: Buy Bitshares With PayPal?
« on: March 14, 2018, 11:23:09 pm »
The easiest way would be to buy some LTC with Paypal and deposit the LTC to your BTS Account. You can now trade BTS with LTC.
http://www.coinqa.org/buy-litecoins-with-paypal-credit-card/

You can also borrow some BitFIAT by margin trading. Dashboard -> Margin Position -> Adjust

We should borrow some BTS to generate BitCNY with an collateral ratio of 5. The fees from the BitCNY and BitUSD can buy BTS and refund the borrowed BTS.

But what is the technical problem for not having enough BitCNY now? We need more FIAT/BitFIAT exchanges.

Why does Bisq require a security deposit?

Security deposits create incentives for both buyer and seller to follow the rules of Bisq's trading protocol. They are locked into multisig escrow along with the bitcoin being traded, and are returned to each user when the trade completes successfully. If a trade goes to arbitration and one party is found to have violated Bisq's trading protocol, some or all of that party's security deposit may be awarded to their counterparty. Examples of protocol violations include a buyer failing to pay a seller, or a seller failing to acknowledge receipt of a buyer's payment. Most Bisq trades complete without any problem thanks in part to the incentives that security deposits create.

The security deposit and an escrow agent is only used, when something goes wrong. The risk of value change during the trade for bitFIAT is not a problem like BTC.

The 0.1% market fee buys BTS again. Who controls these BTS? How about introducing staking for BTS and make every week an airdrop?
Staking is important for a lot of people and they are more convinced in holding BTS, when getting every week a little for free.

I like the idea to reward the BTS holder directly with new BTS paid by trading fees. There is no middle man and anybody has the freedom to do with his BTS, what you wanna do.
This is the staking for BTS, a function much needed to convince people, holding BTS.

    如果比率小于解锁激励抵押比率UICR(由委托人设置)

    用户打开位置以创建由50000 BTS支持的1000 bitUSD(假设10 BTS / bitUSD价格)。

Ledger support would be nice.

Yeah this looks good. CryptoBridge provides new users and now servers. They deserve at least one wittness.

Hallo and just tell us a little more about you.

325
We are glad to introduce to you the new tokens NEO and GAS, that will be available for trading on our market as of today!

One reason more to buy BTS.

Are there any plans of integrating Bitcoin Cash in the DEX?

maybe EOS witnesses will come over and replace our shitty ones.  AFAIC every witness should be running multiple nodes.  21 witnesses.... are there even 21 full nodes?

venting frustration
PS

I see only 19, which is far too low for 2018.

The proposal that has already been adopted is to buy the BTS with a recycling fee and then buy it in the mortgage. The time to buy first, who is this? How much is the mortgage rate performed? What should I do if the funds after the mortgage collapse? This follow-up has a series of questions.
I come to a suggestion to collect the daily fee, buy the BTS through a random block, and (PS: why it is a random block to prevent someone from maliciously targeting the wool) to destroy it immediately!
Reasons: First of all, the current transaction fees generated by the internal disk transaction cannot form a large pool of funds within a short period of time to buy the BTS, and it needs long-term accumulation. However, once a large pool of funds is formed in the later period, the use of this fund will form the focus. Pile of troublesome things. The use of the destruction mechanism has long formed a deflationary trend in disguise, and the logic is simple. The effect is obvious. The community can take a lot of time to study how to expand the market and do technological research and development. It does not need to spend too much effort on this kind of thing. on.
Just to explore, to initiate, we can explore other deflation channels?

Would be nice having an extra Witness for a better network and more nodes.

329
I am also interested in improving the export function and UI.

Any suggestion which tools to use?

Adding extra fees (0,05%) for bitshares to offer a better longterm value and having more liquidity could be a good thing, but I don't think we gonna solve the problem with this. No fees for assets are a huge plus for now.

You can get bitFIAT only when buying BTS and sell BTS again, this is a huge gap for the system. We need more decentralized fiat gateways. Like Bisq integration. https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=23800.msg316383#msg316383

Who creates the bitFIAT when there is more demand?
