tanking down the price of BTS against BTC and get rewarded after this   Leaving no chance for the price to recover with that smart reward idea. I expressed my concerns about the visible damage  after this "contest" of gdex, now the selling wall only in gdex until 300 satoshis grew to 33 BTC. Do you really think new buyers will buy that much ?

Please think logically about this contest. If a BTS is bought solely for this purpose, the intent is to sell this BTS for a higher price (iou.btc usd, cny or whatever) therefor you are not helping at all the price recovery. Right on the contrary - you are building MASSIVE selling walls and nobody involved in this contest would like to sell their BTS on loss naturally. So actually your contest is eating all the newcomer investors purchases and depreciating the value of BTS with time.

 Following the development of BTS for more than two years i am absolutely shocked how things turned for this ecosystem and the best solution we have is to buy and sell the coins between same accounts to "increase liquidity". This contest is nothing but a wash trading in different clothes, even worse - you are killing the even small chance of price recovery... But hey, it is important that the gdex people get rich out of the budget right? 

am i the only one who sees those huge sell walls built after the start of this contest? price recovery is slightly possible now

nobody from normal users takes advantage of that.  volume has not increased during this run. buy X amount of BTS on DEX, sell X amount of BTS in CEX, transfer funds back to DEX = profit?

@abit, big picture of the process can be done on the BitShares ecosystem. Vendors and shippers can transact contracts and value on the blockchain, all information will be public and everybody will see the freight rates that are agreed. This will improve greatly the competitiveness among the truck companies, wider access to more shipments and trustless rating system. On the other side the shippers who are looking for truck companies, will widen Extremely their truck access and improve speed, costs and efficiency for their logistics needs. Online bidding process happens after the pre-filtered shipment and carriers meet, price is agreed with mini auction (tender is the other word) and smart contract for transport is concluded between parties. After the shipment is done, the whole documentation, such as invoices and delivery documents, can be stored and exchanged on the blockchain. When the bidding, shipping, delivery and documentation are done, here comes the best part that can be migrated to the blockchain - payments. As I see here are interesting enough projects already such as Bitspark and they can provide the fiatgateway which the shippers on the one side and truckers on other, need. The whole transaction will be based on BTS and immediately tranfered to FIAT gateway so parties can avoid volatility and loss of value in the transfer. We in the sphere transact money between countries ALOT and trust me the fees we pay to banks are outrageous.

 Combining all that with the database I have and more that comes into one platform will change the logistics sphere forever. I hope this had given you an idea of the disruption I am talking about, I hope I have explained it in a good digestable way. I do not know what part of that is possible on BitShares but would be happy to find out.

i like this initative! I am a low-stake trader for pleasure and i dont have much - like 30/40 000 BTS. Can i be motivated to trade and get part ot those rewards too? Or this is only for big traders like most of the people here with hundreds or millions of BTS..
