What if I still have some unclaimed BTS allocation from the genesis and/or vesting BTS from merger? Should i claim my stack from the genesis before migrating to bitshares 2.0?

Same to me when I tried to sync recently. I even stuck at a block (fork?) and did not move any more.

So I deleted the chain folder (don't delete the wallet folder), and resync from the beginning. Try to use bitshares_client instead of the GUI version, try to specify the chain server in config.json. It finally synced overnight. In any case, backup you wallet before you do anything.

May I know how? Sometimes, I don't want to open my wallet (may be my wallet-equipped computer is not besides me) but I want to check my BTS balance or check/confirm if someone sent BTS to me. In addition, may I know how to determine my account is TITAN or non-TITAN? I cannot find out such information, as I am looking for it for a while.

In addition to the *manual* vote out mechanism, why not introduce an *automatic* expiration period to each 100% delegates?

Like a company offering contract (with a duration) to each employee, I don't see why we cannot introduce a similar contract period to each 100% delegate.  After the contract, if the 100% delegate is under-performed, he/she will be simply downgraded to low-pay delegate. Near the end of each contract period, shareholders can decide whether the 100% delegate deserves a contract extension or not. This should be more effective than *manual* vote out. Different 100% delegate can have different contract period depend on their task nature.

Well, just my little suggestion.

I guess this may not be a feature for offline coldstorage program.
But I think it is necessary to be able to monitor the balance of the coldstorage balance, without putting coldstorage online with a wallet. That is a software that can check the balance via the blockchain.
bitsharesblocks.com has no such feature (because of TITAN?)

Right now, I don't know how to monitor my BTS balance without running my wallet client.  :(

Imagine you deposit 1000 BTS, you get 1010BTS in the book of bter, now you withdraw this 1010 BTS, you only receive 999.9BTS. You loose 0.1BTS.

The 1% deposit gain is not exactly canceled out by 1% withdrawal fee.

AFAIK they can lower fee to 1PTS! And also increasing daily withdrawl limit would be good IMO

I have submitted a support ticket to bter a week ago, requesting them to raise the 20k PTS withdrawal limit (does not make sense to me with such low value). They only said they will take care of it later. But there is no change until today.

Such low withdrawal limit, makes it hard to withdraw the complete fund if there is any snapshot coming in short period of time.

I also agree with you on lowering their withdrawal fee.

I got similar problem as well. Not just sending from bter to my wallet. But even sending between bittrex and poloniex does not work. Should we still stick to 14 Dec as the snapshot date? The BTS network is chaotic right now. Why not readjust the snapshot date? It seems to be a wrong action at the wrong moment :(

Re-syncing the wallet.

We will take BTS snapshot for Sparkle at the end of Dec.14. Don't forget to deposit before it at https://bter.com/myaccount/deposit/BTS

I downloaded the latest release of Bitshares wallet. Delete chain and peer data, resync the block, and finally rescan my wallet against the blockchain. But still, I did not get the withdrawal from bter. I will keep my rest of BTS on bter as they honor my SPK. I believe the BTS chain is a mess (forks) now. Even bitsharesblock reports to use v0.4.26 client, it does not shows the txid from bter and bittrex (I believe they also updated to latest wallets as they halts the service very recently for upgrade). So far, I still have 100 (bter-> my wallet) + 700 BTS (bittrex -> poloniex) transferred BTS missing.

How many connections are needed for mining? I got 11 to 12 connection. But seems nothing happen. I probably miss something.
