There are two main questions, how we can valuate our workers:

1. Does the worker increase the BTS price in the next 6 month?

2. Does the worker solve one of our main problems?

- Marketing
- Integration
- UI
- Liquidity
- Gateways
- Price feeds

On the one side 201907-uccs-research-project does create a problem, where there is actually is no problem, but doesn't solve any of our real problems.
The BitShares community is already aware MCR = 1.5 and MSSR = 1.01 is the sweet spot.

On the other side there will be no extra demand of BTS, because someone did a research on MCR/MSSR. This is not how demand works.
Voting for this research worker, is throwing BTS out of the window!

We already lost some community members, because of bad worker spendings. The uccs-research-project is the worst worker!
Now is not the time for research, but it is time to take actions and change things!

I totally agree with you, I think the network should start focusing on more discussions further about the overall vision and mission before start voting on any worker.

I don't see this issue solved: https://github.com/bitshares/bsips/issues/96

And I don't see a clear vision about what's next when it comes to the network future, is the network ready for corporate security issuers? where are they? why are our own gateways forking the network if it has a real corporate use cases! I see developers are busy doing "dependencies" and marketing campaigns before having a clear vision and mission about where are we heading and how the use cases are going to be shaped, we need to have a scope, what is the scope now to satisfy the ultimate vision of the network?

Keep up!

Since the time I saw your work guys back in May, I've checked it fully and loved it.

I support this project and I see a very good potential with it if it supports and focus on the "branding" approach of BitShares.

One of the biggest advantage use cases for this product is:

 - It's built using cordova so app can get customized only one time and then a single build command will run it for Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Mobile Safari and Mobile Chrome, standalone apps for Windows, Android, Linux, iOS and macOS.
 - The source code and branding section for it would make it easy for assets issuers to customize their brand for their created assets.
 - The pages are light and browsing quickly, I see no bugs so far.
 - UX work is great and prompt.

Thanks for this.

Amazing, proud of you guys!

Ryan R. Fox Introduces the BitShares Core Team 2019 Development Roadmap and Future of Blockchain in China

SHANGHAI, CHINA (July 31, 2019) — The 2nd Global Graphene Blockchain Developer Conference was successfully held on July 7th, 2019 at Shanghai Kempinski Hotel and dived into the future of blockchain innovation. The conference uncovered the latest breakthroughs in graphene blockchain technology—such as cross-chain, blockchain interoperability and trusted computing—and gave developers and technology enthusiasts a platform to connect directly with the graphene community.

Ryan R. Fox (@ryanRfox), Development Coordinator of BitShares (https://bitshares.org/), was invited as a keynote speaker. During the speech, he introduced the BitShares Core Team’s Development Roadmap. Fox provided an overview of the achievements of BitShares in the past five years and the Development Roadmap of the BitShares Core Team moving into in the future. According to Fox, since the team was founded, the number of user accounts has reached a total of 1.6 million with 25,000 user accounts holding more than $10 USD of token value and 12,000 user accounts holding more than $100 USD of token value.

Meanwhile, Ryan R. Fox showed the data of BitShares’ funding. He noted that at the current valuation of $0.06 USD, “the BitShares DAC enjoys over $52M in reserves, able to be distributed to advancing the platform”. Anyone may use the voting proposals to secure funding if approved. In 2018, over $40,000 USD of funding was paid out to white hat hackers to update and apply patches to the software, making it more secure. In 2019, the BitShares Core Team is focusing mainly on protocol development and system enhancements. In the future, the BitShares Core Team will work on the exploration and development of a mobile app, hardware wallets, interoperability, Hashed Timelock Contracts (HTLC), payment channels, Interledger Protocol (ILP), P2P Lending and a novel asset handling framework called “tanks and taps.”

As a decentralized autonomous community, BitShares relies on numerous teams to support and build the platform. Fox introduced eight funded BitShares teams, which are the Core Team, Reference UI Team, Mobile App Team, DEXbot Team, Marketing Team, Legal Team, Website Team and Infrastructure Team. Combined, these teams comprise over $2M USD in budget for 2019. In addition to the introduction of the team’s progress and project development, Fox also expressed his vision for establishing and strengthening collaboration with the BitShares Blockchain Foundation (BBF). “With the support of the BBF, we have a place to custody our tokens…so we can have a secure and accurate disclosure of what our funds are spent on.” Fox stressed the importance of having a foundation like BBF within a decentralized organization.

Filled with enthusiasm, Fox stressed that marketing and academic collaboration are significant in the development of blockchain’s future. The promotion of blockchain technology is inseparable from increasing brand awareness and building cooperation in academia. Tong Shen, Coordinator Assistant of the BitShares Core Team, mentioned that the BitShares Core Team would cooperate with other proposal teams to strengthen communication with communities. This would include the Chinese community especially, and empower BitShares’ blockchain comprehensively.

Throughout the conference, the BitShares Core Team connected with other proposal teams and exchanged ideas with these innovative thought leaders. Annemieke Dirkes, legal representative of the BitShares blockchain, introduced the BitShares Blockchain Foundation during her speech. In addition, Jademont, committee member of BitShares and co-founder of Waterdrip Capital, led a panel discussion with Fabian Schuh, committee member of BitShares and CTO of Blockchain Projects BV. The topic of the panel discussion was the global ecology of the graphene blockchain. All conference attendees expressed great enthusiasm for empowering the BitShares ecosystem, including increasing BitShares’ market value, and therefore make BitShares the top-rated project in the blockchain industry.

Graphene blockchain is known as the best blockchain developer framework. Other projects based on this framework, besides BitShares, include Steem, EOS, GXChain, YOYOW, Bottos, SEER, μNEST, Finchain, NULS, OracleChain and everiToken, among many others. etc. Thanks to host GBAC and co-host Bitwires, the 2nd Global Graphene Blockchain Developer Conference of 2019 was a great success and instilled a sense of positive optimism and energy for furthering the graphene blockchain future.

Thanks for the advice.

We're approaching being an active part of this great network, currently we're focusing on trying to simplify the experience and the journey on the platform, we have done some little re-formation of some used terminologies to make it simpler for the ordinary bankers and we will keep improving it according to users feedback and case studies.

We appreciate encouragement and endorsement for our model.

Regards,

Dear stakeholders and the community members,

My name is Ammar Yousef (R0CK) and I hereby to introduce myself to the respectful Committee and Witness members who are behind this wonderful futuristic platform.

About me:

I'd rather to say I'm from Earth; I've lived enough to adore technology, science, philosophy, universal history, ancient languages and playing music.

I believe I'm doing nothing but continuing my infinite existing information's journey, I'm watching thru the eye, yet I have no choice
but to witness.

I believe I can be an active positive entity within any community or group; serving the holy society and environment around me and expecting a peaceful eternal life. I’m blessed to be married to a beautiful lovely wife and to have my only son Julian the smartest boy ever and I’m doing my best for them and for the society behind me.

I've been on the internet since I was 12 years old, I'm almost 37 years old now, I've been into many projects on the internet related to science and society.

I've been administering banking systems for 15 years and currently I'm the data center architect of "Warba Bank" in Kuwait.

My latest work is "ioBanker", I've established ioBanker limited company in Estonia and got licenses to perform crypto exchange financial services.

We are finalizing the project at this great platform and looking for support, we've chosen this great platform because we believe in DEX and we believe in trustless philosophy when it comes to this market.

I've done the setup of the core node myself along with the UI and it's currently deployed on "https://dex.iobanker.com" operating from data centers in Germany and I've successfully done the setup of the witness node "iobanker-core".

I'm so glad that I've found you guys and looking forward to hear from you.

Regards,

Welcome to the network and wish you a great success, especially as someone who is licensed for trading already! Regarding witness, I suggest you create a testnet witness, post the details/specs and account name, so it's get voted-in there first and see how it performs.

Dear Stakeholders,

Greetings from ioBanker team; I would like to thank you all for being here and for the contribution in this great network, last week I've witnessed your reaction on a bug issue as a committee and I've seen how you all were trying to solve the issue in no time. We're so glad to have you.

Today we're officially establishing our first network node, It's hosted in Germany Frankfurt in a very powerful datacenter and server, because that's what the beautiful community deserves.
