He has a short video somewhere on the forum somewhere. I think 38PTSWarrior is worth the votes. Have had him on my slate for a while. 30% pay delegate at today's rates is a no brainer in my opinion. If his day to day is really like that, he is generating 350-700 face to face impressions per week. 1% conversion is still 15-20 people per month exploring BTS.

yeah, but that's not targeted. conversion is more like 0.001 if any
I think you are wrong fav. But keep stoning my way everytime you have the chance. You ref-link centered conversion marketer!

I am sorry to here that you are in a bad mood currently.
If I may give some advices:
 - focus on the one thread in which you "propose" your delegate
 - put a list of all your achievements directly into the Opening post and add a new reply to the thread whenever you change something in the OP (as a notification)
 - tell them how the things you do affect the ecosystem and bring in more funds/investment
 - compile a list of things you do to entertain people and how this is related to BitShares
 - let the shareholders know that you are imagining a better world and that you want to actively join this movement!

Anyway, let me just say that I am VERY glad to have you on board! This forum is a multi-cultural place with VERY different people from all around the world. They all see this project with different eyes and try to make it a success!

+5% !!!! Look forward. Not backwards! If people put bricks in your way, grab them and build something nice with them!

So today I hope for real good help of you.

Xeroc made such a nice list on what he will do and how he will spend the money. I cannot do this on my own.
Could you give me some suggestions on what is wanted by the shareholders and then .. just make me such a plan? I put so much time and effort and money into my delegate.

You can suggest what the delegate does, is that not cool?
I came here and had the impression that eveyone is doing what he can and together we gonna succeed.
Save delegate martin-38ptswarrior-raum

I cannot entertain like that. I need to be happy to work well.

Thank you phillyguy! I like you :-)

Today I met the man behind Technologia Incognita ( http://techinc.nl/node/1)
How? Singing in the metro! :-D
Stop the downvotes, and be nice ;-)
And please start to recognize the value of my work for the company. I am supported by xeroc who has me on his slate who just went up into the top 110 within hours. So if you like xeroc and trust his judgement, why not vote for me too? Xeroc and I had a good time at the bitcoin Frankfurt meeting where we represented BitShares.

*confirmed* .. we met in Frankfurt which is FULL of traders in the "traditional" system ..
Delulo and I were there for the P2P lending conference and had I known that BTS2.0 will have bonds .. you can figure out the rest :)

I met a tv host, currency trader, boss of business school, stock traders in front of frankfurts and amsterdams exchanges, ex-bankers, family of boris becker, salvation army boss, amsterdam coffeeshop executives, it-people, bitcoin company employee, xeroc, pc, delulo, frankfurt bitcoiners, starbucks executive, programmers, hostels, friends, and several thousand more people.

But like I said, if the shareholders do not find that good enough then I want to allocate the income to someone else so my delegate helper and me can at least pay the electricity.

Agreed with Permie and adding on that, you'd better find "gatekeepers" who are able to let you enter into insider groups.
That is what I do

Are there places you can perform where you're more likely to meet these kinds of people?
I think targeting financial-types would yield a much better result.
I'm not sure the average person cares much or understands economics or exchanges

If you could prove that you're pitching to these financial types on the regular, I think you might get more votes
A 1 hour conversation with a trader who can relate to what you're saying is more valuable than handing out cards to 100 people in the same time, IMO
If you can educate one well-connected person to 'get it' you can spark a chain reaction of BitShares chat in the office, full of other financial pro's

Keep up the good work!

It may be of interest that I today entertained a wonderful couple. Soon after the young lady told me that she works in a bitcoin company. 1 plus 1 is 2, I give her the quick pitch and now I have to read that the convertion is 0.0001%? Come on, she will dig deeper, tell her boss about BitShares and boom.

Permie, I thought about working with a hotel in cambodia. Free stay when buying drinks in smartcoins or whatever. Or to rent a house, its only 200 dollar s month, and make it into a blockuniversity. I am flexible.

Then advertise on tuktuks. Then open cafes everywhere lol, improvisation!

If the community doesnt like it, i am willing to give that a break and let the money flow to someone the community likes more (valuable).
I need blocks...

Imagine me on a normal day. I get up and smoke a joint with the camping crowd. Here we chat, they ask me what I do and then I explain them in 4 sentences what BitShares is about and hand a flyer/card.

Then I go to the center with the metro. In the metro I start singing and making some comedy. By that I meet people from all of society.
Of course I tell them about us and give a card.

Once in the center I continue with my show (starts from 5 cent if they like it, if not I pay 20 cents).

I do this the whole day and meet dozens of people. They like my show, they pay and with that money I go and print flyers.

Then I hitchhike a bit back to camping and meet more people.
These people you normally not meet on the street. They are managers, business people from large companies.

So every day I meet 50 to 100 people and explain BitShares. Last time I met family members of freaking Boris Becker, tennis icon!

Show me one person here, who brings BitShares to so many different people like I do. With lovely poetry and real emotions I break the ice. My target group is everyone. From the hustler at the corner, to the celebrities. 1Love..
This sounds really great!
Have you any videos of your performances?
I think you need to woo bts members as well as the public with your poetry

What extra work do bts members get if you're voted in that they don't get from you for free anyway?

The referral program is good. I know about it alteady. My question is: What do I do with my delegate? I am not getting enough votes and just recently someone took 26 MILLION votes from me. Since then, too many downvotes!

I am marketing to people every day and they have interest. Some for sure will become future users.

If the community does not see that as important enough, then I need to change something.

Why? Because I paid for that delegate and my helper pays for the server and none of us has seen any payment for that since January!

So what changes do I have to make for the delegate to get more votes?

Hi Ander, if you have the time to write some text, please do, I need good opinions. I don*t know what you want to tell me with the quote.

Oops I had a mismatched quote in there.

Basically I was saying: Any type of members you bring in in 2.0 are good.  If you get them to sign up for premium you get a bunch of cash.  If normal users, you get part of their future fees.

I thought if the user you sign up bought premium membership they 'buy out' their referrer and 80% of their future fees are returned to them, the fee-refund being the primary reason to upgrade.
Am I wrong?

The way I understand it, if the user you brought in buys the premium membership, you get $80 of that $100, so you would be happy.

Maybe I can allocate the income of the delegate to something which the community finds more important? What would that be? Speak up, I need your support :-)

What do I have to tell to a programmer? I met one, he is a good man and I said we gonna make fifty/fifty.
He only has time from August on and I am sure he knows what to do.

I am so happy that I met him. He is so analytical it is frightning ;)
We (he, lol) will for sure come up with something wicked. He is the secret weapon of my delegate :-)

You want to gear your marketing towards having them become regular users because then they are going to pay for the membership.. an you will make around $40 on that... and then also get their transaction fees for life.

Yes very good ideas, but what can I do now to get votes? I will have the help of a senior programmer in august. A squeeze page can be my google site with the pdf or so.

I have too much text on that site and to make it easy for the eyes would be good.

I am interested in announcing something now, which will have a direct effect on how many people vote for me.

Offline BunkerChainLabs-DataSecurityNode

I think that I do not get voted enough because I state no numbers about where the bts I would make as a delegate would go to. Also I read that marketing delegates are not needed anymore. Therefore I want to adapt to the new situation. What would you do in my situation?

Come and help me. I am very flexible. Would it be good to give them for a while to an existing delegate in need, or .. I dont know!?

I want to split the bts in percent for this and that but dont know what is needed and what people would vote for.

We are a number of months out from the refer program coming.. I think your efforts at present would be best served by collecting as much contact information from prospects as you can to get them ready for 2.0... and when it does.. you then funnel them into signing up using your refer code.

You want to gear your marketing towards having them become regular users because then they are going to pay for the membership.. an you will make around $40 on that... and then also get their transaction fees for life.

Sooo.. in your face to face marketing.. I would attempt to lead them to maybe some kind of squeeze page where you are offering some kind of PDF about why they need to protect their money with BitShares and perhaps continue to nurture that relationship until the 2.0 time comes.

Hope this gives you some ideas to consider.
