This is going to sound ignorant, but I simply downloaded the OS X client yesterday and ran it. I suppose it's likely that the full OS X client runs a local server on port 8091, but it's not running now even after a reboot. Just checked the download area and see that BitShares-OSX-full-2.15.286 is no longer a download option. I didn't see any commit messages indicating that it had been removed.

it is seems that you try to connect to local serve,  had you run full witness node on you computer?

This worked fine when I downloaded and claimed all my balances yesterday.
