Anyone else seeing this message? Is this bad?  :-[

I have filed a bug report on this. https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/issues/669

Probably harmless... let me know if you are able to sync

Turns out I am producing blocks. Which I assume means I'm in sync? Message doesn't go away though.

General Discussion / Price feed help
« on: August 20, 2014, 03:41:16 am »
So I looked around for a bit but there is precious little time left. How do I set a price feed as a delegate automatically? Preferably with a script? I have not had to use RPC calls to this point so it would be nice to have a place where I can find that info. A tutorial would be nice. Anyone?

Thanks! Every vote counts! :) I've just upgraded to 0.4.1 and no problems yet.

I guess this is because you have produced the block in this round, and there will be a shuffle before you produce next block, so the program can not calculate exactly time when you will produce your next block

This is not how it works... you can produce multiple blocks in a single round if someone misses.  So that is not why it is NULL.

That said, I think this thread should be updated to reflect that delegates should not upgrade unless they want to help test and are prepared to upgrade one more time before wednesday.   Delegates that want to be lazy and upgrade only once should not try this release.

After discussions going on I have tweaked the bitasset FDIC system so the hardfork will be slightly different than we see in this release.  In fact, we may want to push the hard-fork back a few days so that all the issues can be worked out.

I don't understand. If that isn't how it works, then how does it work? Because it always says NULL until the next round begins now.

Also the time being 1910 is from making your unlock time too long. 9999999999 is too much but 99999999 is fine and puts it to 2017. That has been the case since before 0.4.0 though.

General Discussion / RPC help
« on: August 15, 2014, 06:43:17 pm »
While we are waiting to hear the plans for publishing feeds... Is there anywhere I can look to brush up on how to use the RPC calls with BTSX? I searched in the forum for a bit but didn't really find anything. More specifically running a script to make RPC calls would be nice. alt has a good python script here. But a tutorial on how to make my own script would be really nice. I've written python scripts before but I don't have any experience with RPC. The idea is that the delegates will get there sources different ways from different places right?

So..... 0.4.1..... crash fixed?

Edit: No sooner do I post than I am at number 11.  :o Still havent missed a block since I have been on 0.3.1 though. :)
Edit2: Back to 10? Okay well either way, please support reliable delegates by voting for me! Thanks!

I've gotta say guys I really like the '_' idea. Are there any other symbols that would work well? Like | > $ & % ?

So I posted this here as well:
https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=6324.msg90605#msg90605

But my delegate is missing from bitSuperLab. Are you not seeing all blocks produced? What's happening?
