I had no idea you guys were so much more than just pretty faces!

That was one of the most effective tour de force riffs on BitShares I have ever seen, er, heard.
(Right up there with Max Wright!)
Please, talk some more!

I had no idea we were that coherent!  ;)
I was scared to listen, but pleasantly surprised.

Thanks Stan, glad we could pull it off!  Now just watch that market cap soar! :D

Having driven over 4400 miles in 24 days,
while conducting over 13 interviews with community members and core devs in 7 states,
I can definitely say it was worth every mile!

It was a long and inspiring journey!
We learned so much on this trip, and captured some really great footage along the way.

Hey everyone, just a quick update from the road.

We are an hour from returning home to Minneapolis. We've driven 4372 miles (7036 kilometers) over 24 days, with 13 interviews from community members and core devs in 7 states.

It's been a long and inspiring journey! We learned so much on this trip and captured some really great footage along the way.

We'll post a more extensive update this evening, when we've had a chance to rest and recover for a moment.

We may be exhausted, but we're more excited about the prospects of BitShares than ever before!

I actually wish we could have extended the time you stayed in Nashville. It was great to be part of history :)

A little less glad to know about Roko's Basilisk...
though I believe there would be other powerful and equally benevolent AI's to counter its steely gaze...

LOL, yeah... sorry we should stop talking about the Basilisk, it's just wrong...
Personally I subscribe to Fesenko's Basilisk, or Lovejoy's Basilisk, the more benevolent forms in that line of thinking.. ;)

It was really great to meet you Fuzzy, and I definitely want to be back through Nashville!  What an awesome town, we didn't get to experience enough of it.  Bummed we managed to forget the group photo, but at least we've got a few stills from the interview. :)

Glad to hear it Ken :)

I just want to add my 2 cents, for the benefit of anybody ever reading this thread.... Now or 3 years from now.

This tour is one of the most idiotic things, I have  ever seen!

:)  Love ya Tonyk2!  We'll come visit you one day too if you want.  When bts is at >$.10 and everyone's mood is different.

It's been a great trip, and there's a lot being accomplished!

218
Yeah Thom, sounds good!  I will PM you.  :)  Cheers, b

I can't wait to see all your footage!

I can't wait either!  Looks promising so far. :)

Where will you be, on the 9th & 10th that is?

Trying to pin you down on when you'll be in St. Louis, you guys are like slippery eels when it comes to setting schedules :)

I can't meet on the 11th, but could almost any day this week, if I know where / when you'll be in St. Louis.

Keep me posted.

Hey Thom, we haven't yet deviated from the dates posted in the OP... :P  I don't know why people keep asking when we're going to be where, we're running like a clock!

However, onto St. Louis... We'll be arriving in St. Louis from Nashville on the evening of the 11th, and my goal for the following morning on the 12th is to head for Alton IL, and visit the grave and monument of my cousin, the journalist and abolitionist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elijah_Parish_Lovejoy, where I would like to reflect on a few things as we begin to draw this grand journey to a close

If you are able to meet us on the afternoon of the 12th, I believe that's going to be the only window we have, and likely not a huge one.  Let us know if you'll be able to make it for a short visit on that day.  We will have been on the road for 23 days as of April 12th, and fairly ready to be back at our respective homes again.

We've got two full days left in Blacksburg and lot's of filming to attend to yet!

221
Yes!  We're meeting up on the evening of the 9th for a talk, and doing the actual interview on the morning of the 10th. :)

It should be a great conversation!  I'm looking forward to it.

All Roads Lead to Blacksburg!

Wherein we describe the NYC to Blacksburg leg of our journey!

Since Bitscape, Roadscape, and Robrigo will be with us over the weekend we've decided to have a BitShares Barbecue out at Half Mile High Meadows in the wilds of Southwest Virginia.

Naturally, we will be offering up a virtual smorgasbord of fresh roadkill du jour.

Mmmmm.... Roadkill!  You're too kind. ;)  We're all very excited to arrive in the wilds!

224
We have meet up scheduled in Blacksburg for you this Thursday night.
Will you make it by then?

Yeah, we'll be in ready to meet up as early as Thursday afternoon. :)  Looking forward to it!

Do we have any highly-knowledgeable BitShares people here that are also anarchists? (yes, I'm one too)

ie: https://youtu.be/75k2pQHaB1g
If I was more BitShares-knowledgeable, I'd do it, but if there are any other anarchists here who could be interviewed about BitShares, please contact me, thanx :)
I may be able to arrange a skype interview on Jeff's show.

Peace, Love and Anarchy.

Well Ken, Anarchism is one of those sneaky ism's which makes peoples brains turn off when they hear it... It's a label which describes me just as well / poorly as Taoist, or Yogi, i suppose, but i don't generally identify with labels of any kind.  There are so many flavors of anarchism.  Yes, I am hugely informed by the likes of Peter Kropotkin, Emma Goldman, as well as Lao Tzu, PataƱjali, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, Bruce Lee, and Mr. T .. lol.  So long as Jeff doesn't mind me deconstructing every ism including anarchism, then I'd be happy to consider being a guest on his show. :)

Highly knowledgeable?  Politics, theory, DPOS, I might know a thing or two, but i'd need to brush up on any deep technical intricacies if he wanted to go down those rabbit holes.

Let's get through the Bitcoins and Gravy interview and maybe we can talk Anarchast next.  ;)
