Technical Support / Re: Support Forum Tipping

I will be pleased to share my experience with anyone from China and isn't able to understand English very well. PM me if needed.

价格已经在哗哗的降了,真是后悔12月31号进了那么多,本来还指望KEYHOTEE发布能给市场更多信心呢? 一下推迟一个月,太狠了点

If you need an administrator for Chinese language sub forum, count me in. Actually, I have helped plenty of newbies for their wallet sync problems, explanation of concepts of all products from Invictus, not in the forum, but in some domestic chatting groups(QQ) with thousands of members. Anyway, I have sufficient experience and time, and would like to share all of them to attract more people join.

General Discussion / Is bounty way for development a good way?
« on: January 02, 2014, 09:08:26 pm »
I found that in the subforum--Bountiful Bounties, many key development issues are resolved by bounty. So I wonder, are there enough full-time talented programmers in 3I? After all, bounty can not guarantee the stability of development and the long time maintenance or update afterwards. I think this could a main reason for that the keyhotee was delayed? Anyway, keyhotee actually is relatively simple and  has little innovation compared with the sophisticated Bitshare system. I am worried that if keyhotee is delayed by 1 month, we would expect that Bitshare be delayed by 1 year...

Keyhotee / Any official news about when Keyhotee will be released?
« on: January 02, 2014, 08:42:49 pm »
Sorry If I missed any important post.
Jan 01 was planned to be the release date, but I found nothing, not even an official explanation about the delay. I bought in a big amount of PTS days ago to expect a price jump after the keyhotee release, but now the price is going down, significantly... And I do believe it reflects the believe of market on 3I. So please, at least tell us an excuse , explanation or a firm plan. Otherwise, the confidence can also be consumed.

BitShares AGS / Re: [AGS] Angelshares day 1 statistics.
« on: January 02, 2014, 07:13:37 am »
Angleshares value in PTS: 2.133 AGS/PTS = 9.50 USD. Total donations today: 2,343.996 PTS = 47,770.64 USD.
Angleshares value in BTC: 80.825 AGS/BTC = 9.28 USD. Total donations today: 61.862 BTC = 46,693.44 USD.

That's a total funding of 94,464.08 USD on day one! Good job!

Folks who moved from PTS/BTC to AGS today more than doubled their stake in BitShares and subsequent DACs.
I wonder how long that deal will hold up...

"...And we're goin' to Surf City, 'cause it's two to one"

PTS is more valuable for sure, cause you can buy and sell at any time. AGS will not be close to PTS's value until really exciting DAC comes out. Right?

Crazy guy, you are way  too greedy...Forum ID is not worth anything... The administrator can delete all of your IDs without notification because holding multiple IDs is a violation to the policy...

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] - Fast PTS pool
« on: December 29, 2013, 06:41:52 pm »
Hi yvg1900, thanks for your excellent work. For the new version, however I couldn't figure out how to choose the most appropriate one from their names, instead of trying all of them...  Could you please just kindly tell me which version I should use? For win7 64bit running on I5, I7 and E3 CPU, respectively.  Thank you!

New M7i version of PTS miner is available and named yam - Yet Another Miner. Works with and other pools that support XPT proto.

yam M7i is complete rewrite of yvg1900 miner and has new cmd line and config options. Check readme.txt and yam.cfg for details.
It is faster on all supported platforms, including Win64, Linux64 and MacOS X 64.
PTS miner re-engineered for better support of different CPUs and now supports large pages on Windows. Check docs for more details.

yam M7i supports config files, backup pool connections, proxy and multiple connection handling improvements that reduce share rejections.
PTS miner now has better fine tuning, more precise stats and supports specifying per-thread memory size as configurable parameter.

BitShares PTS / Re: PTS has disappeared from

I guess it's because ripple replaced LTC as the second largest, so the LTC fans boycott...

Anyone have insight on this? Thanks.

People on the Litecoin forum were threatening to boycott unless they removed certain stuff.

Source links please.

BitShares PTS / Re: Payouts?
« on: December 21, 2013, 08:07:48 pm »
I guess that would be recognized as the donation to the pool...

Anybody knows how we will be charged after the 100 free credit? They just stop the server or charge us from credit card directly? I don't even know where to check my used credit, it always displays 0, but I have been running it for 2 days...

Has anyone been able to get an EC2 server recently?

The $100 free still works as its been applied to my account, but getting a spot is impossible:

Edit.  Had to up to $1. Can't get yvgprotominor working on it now...

Eh, haven't had a problem at all

can get 8 core for 7 cents

ed:  though you'd need to get it for about 3 cents now for it to be worth it

General Discussion / Re: Timeline of Bitshare

What will happen to PTS mining when BTS comes out? People will turn to mining BTS I guess, because exchange ratio for PTS with BTS is 1:1

General Discussion / Timeline of Bitshare
« on: December 16, 2013, 05:25:25 am »
I am surprised hearing that bitshare might need 2 years to be finally released. We know mining PTS now is not profitable anymore after the difficulty was just doubled, not to mention the price is going down...   I doubt people will mine PTS for two years just for waiting for BTS coming out... It's very risky if there is no continuous spur. And the whole product might die without the support of large popularity.  Someone wanna comment on this? Thanks.
