General Discussion / On a mission to get more links and buzz
« on: August 05, 2014, 07:51:16 pm »
hello everyone,

the only thing i can contribute is effort and time so i just started my twitter life to support our bitshares ecosystem. you can find me https://twitter.com/bitshareshub

i already listed us at http://coingorilla.com/ a small side, but link is link and the guy there is really nice. had a small chat via twitter and struggeld once more to explain in simple words btsx concept. would be nice if some people have time to visit his side and vote for our bitshares http://coingorilla.com/servicedetails.aspx?sid=2409

2. i also wrote this mail today

Got a special offer for all our friends and approved services! For now, you can be listed in our Altcoin and Business Catalogs for free!

Would like to enlist BitShares X

more Information at bitshares-x.info , bitsharestalk.org, bitshares.org .

The offical marketing represent is Brian Page - press@bitshares.org

and realised it is only one e-mail address on bitshares.org page. I think should be much more.

in the future i plan to set up a page www.bitsharehub.com with information about the bitshares ecosystem
maybe i try to run some delegates as well but some technical support would be good, if i do it.

if you are on twitter it would be nice you could follow me @bitshareshub and retweet sometimes (121 followers after 3 days)

cheers

General Discussion / What do you think about press articles here?
« on: August 03, 2014, 07:03:01 pm »
I found

http://thebitcoinnews.co.uk/product/press-release-publication-on-the-bitcoin-news-network/

0.45 BTC or 30.000 BTSX to publish article on all 6 sides. Do anyone know them? Any experience in the past?
Maybe Brian can talk with them and get some better offer for a little bit of btsx equity from the I3 holding. They flood Twitter with news and maybe this is excactly what we need now.

Stakeholder Proposals / Explanation of the voting system
« on: August 02, 2014, 09:22:53 am »
i tried to explain the voting system to a friend and failed big time  :D

so i realised i need a good explanation. but i could not found anything understandable at the wiki or the forum.

can anyone point me to this point or can it explain?

what is unclear?

1. can i only vote if i transfer myself the amount or are incoming transfers counting as votes too?
2. when i transfer 1.000 btsx and vote for 20 delegates, do i understand it corret, that everyone of the 20 delegates gets 1.000 votingpoints?
3. so when i see a delegat with 9% approvel it means that 9% of 4 bn btsx has voted for him?

i am a longtime reader and sometimes poster, but if i have this kind of problems i assume that new people has absolutly no clue about it. we need here better explaination and examples.

General Discussion / Voting - improvements
« on: August 01, 2014, 08:13:35 pm »
just installed 0.3.0

1. i don't see the slates? what did i miss?
2. when i select "my votes" i see the old voted as well. i already cut them from the list. so maybe it would be possible to make it easier understandable when did i last voted for which delegated with which amount of stake.
3. at the moment no really information for the voters are provided. so it is really not "fun" to vote and not easy understandable.

i would like to know if you are working at a solution, that no one can take as an example

btsx : shentist

in the upcoming bitshares chains?

if not, i think it will really going a big problem then more known people like toast etc. got already this problem. so in a worst case scenario i would have different name in all bitshares chains.

« on: July 22, 2014, 06:09:11 pm »

In the moment 1 Protoshares costs 1/50 of 1 BTC and i wanted to know if you believe it would be better to take a piece of Angelshares and not Protoshares. After the fork of the first Bitshares chain with a 50% split. All coming Bitshares will be splitted from Protoshares with 10:1.

So what do you expect for the Protoshare price to be after the first Bitshare fork? In the moment it seems to me the first Bitshares is valued something 8-9 USD but will this mean that Protoshares will fall to 10 USD back?
