I would recommend to read the migration guide:

You will need to install Bitshares 0.9.3c first and create a newer backup (all without syncing if you see your funds in your accounts)

Hi,  help appreciated in advance.

Haven't logged in to bitshares in a while.    I backed up my wallet in  bitsharexwallet.json  format.

Tried installing 2.0 wallet and retrieving but it says file is not readable.   Can someone please refer me to the correct tutorial.   Mac user here.
