General Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange idea (Possible?)
« on: December 20, 2013, 11:38:51 am »
This is what I thought Keyhotee could eventually become, on top of the messaging and ID systems, a decentralized bank and exchange. When Keyhotee is launched and thousands of people start using it, I was going to try and set up a Keyhotee exchange but I would have to advertise and run it through a forum since there`s no application for a service like that as of yet. Maybe that could be a future feature added to Keyhotee?
keyhotee is just for messaging .. I thought it BitShares (built-into keyhotee) that want to accomplish this

Keyhotee isn't just for messaging, it's also for your identity and your money.. lol That's been made very clear

Keyhotee / Re: Better pick up the pace, we got competition.

Well with these 3 competitors I guess it's safe to say the age of the password is coming to an end. Let's just hope Keyhotee leads the pack in Public-key cryptography platforms...

Anyone who mines for one month can buy one at 10 PTs

I don't think I will make it. I have an i3 and am projecting to get about 2 PTS in the next 20 days, could be 3 if I am lucky. Maybe anyone who has more computing power than me...

Buy them now, they are cheap. That's what I'm doing, might even buy 20 for future DACs.

Keyhotee ID is just a single block chain, there are no future ID DACs.   One ID will work for all DACs.

I meant Protoshares not the ID for DACs. If I understand correctly, if you hold PTS you have a stake in future DACs right? Like with memorycoin, if you hold 10 PTS you get 1 MMC.

Well this can be either a good or bad thing. Good because even the big tech companies see the potential in this idea and have shown interest in going into that direction. Bad because all eyes are on the big tech companies on this front, and it's not about who creates this first, but who everyone's looking at. Invictus still has a head start since Keyhotee is set to release on new years, so it would be smart to spread Keyhotee like wild fire before these tech companies own this idea.

You can send me 0.04 BTC but you'll get nothing in return, I'm buying not selling lol... WTB= Want To Buy

So a week before LTC jumped up in price I purchased 38.5 LTC for $175 ($4.60 ea) from a guy on another forum, who was seemingly trustworthy. I got scammed and missed out on $1500 because of it. I then discovered Keyhotee and protoshares, wanting to get a founders ID for Keyhotee, I started mining PTS. I was only able to mine 2.3 PTS before I realized the difficulty and my hardware weren't good enough for me to reach the 10 PTS in time for the dec 24th deadline. The only other option I have is to just buy these PTS, and I would do it in a heart beat too, except I don't have enough money. I have $310 loaned to my parents, $350 loaned to my friend, $100 loaned to my cousin, none of them can pay me back in time, leaving me with $100 to my name atm. I'm looking for a job right now but even if I started yesterday, I wouldn't get my first pay check until it's too late, and using Christmas money wouldn't be helpful either. The only money I have is in my 10 NMC, which if I sell I still won't have enough for the remaining PTS I need to hit 10.

If you have something for me to do that can earn me 7.77 PTS I'll be very greatful, and if you decide to just give me them I WILL pay you back in the new year, or if NMC jumps up 50%.

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] ptsweb.beeeeer.org - Protoshares mining sub-pool
« on: December 10, 2013, 10:26:07 am »
Someone kept closing my miner before since it was on my home computer, which is why there's time gaps. I'm just saying with the exact same hardware/software, I can mine the same amount of LTC (higher difficulty) as I do here with PTS. All I want to do is mine another 8 PTS before the 24th so I can get myself a founders ID.

I'm more than sure I should be mining more than 0.00733 PTS in a few hours with 16GB RAM and 8CPU's from the cloud mining tutorial link you provided on the pool website.

EDIT: I followed this tutorial for the cloud mining a few hours ago https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=722.0 and started with the 16Gb RAM and 8 CPU's, running 12 threads.

And for my home PC I was running 8GB ram at 7 threads.
