General Discussion / Re: Delegate vote swaps

Dare to share why?
Because he can and obviously want to .. or maybe "just because" .. it's like an act of freedom!?

Great, I get it.
All we need is ... $$$ and we have the freedom to get them.
Understandable!

I will personally try to never vote for 'Delegate vote swaps' participant, but feel free to do so!

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Introducing DAS Lab (with a delegate bid)
« on: July 21, 2014, 06:44:24 am »
I am starting a traditional centralized company whose primary purpose is to hire "real" employees (you know, with a contract and some job security) to work on decentralized systems. The two primary sources of income will be delegate nodes and consultation.

Think long-term, then vote.

Do your employees are expected to work same hours as you - it is 2:43 in the morning on Sunday?

I bought 47,000 LTBcoins and I did so well above the prevailing market price.
(Re: 1FFQw7nyzvC5X39pQ3ujUtA2idDWtMfXYt)

I am also ready to buy/send  you  additional 100-120 K LTBcoins at the suggested price of 3.6LTBC/BTSX.

If you have changed your mind, I will take it. It will be good, if you pay the agreed/suggested by you market price for those  TLBcois , but whatever. If you do not, I will just be screwed by just  another big crypto player.

I'm working on design of something completely alternative to a block chain. Chains are linear, and hence will always be a bottleneck.

I'm targeting 2,000 transactions per second. When that happens, sayonara BTC, BTSX, etc. (unless they adapt and adopt such method)

But it is a very hard problem to solve.

You should talk to one of my other friends on this forum... he has similar feelings about this stuff. I will post the link when I find it. (12- 36h…)

There is a crazy theory why this is bad ( i.e. wallets competing for blocks).... I3/BM have crazy theories for all but what they/he suggests. The only way to suggest ANYTHING to them is to post under Agent86 account. I have no idea how you hack his ID, but if you do whatever you suggest will be accepted! It just has to only pass the minimal logic requirement - like 1 vote should count for at least 1 vote.

Something like that.

Plus additional complications as knowing  the next 100/1000 block producers.

After all, if all goes well we will probably end up with 1000 to 5000 delegates about the time we overtake BTC.

I kind of agree on 2 fronts.
Little birdy tells me:

-100 is for speed (100 is faster than 1000).
-It also provides 10x the income for one delegate.

Facts of life… no birdie whisperer in my ear.

If 36,000 BTSX for 130,000 LTBcoins works for you, I will send you the first 1/3 LBTs right away. (just provide address)

Sure.
I think, I can buy 100-150K LBTc at those levels.
Do you want to make a deal and how much BTS X are you willing to sell (max/min)?

« on: July 21, 2014, 04:02:16 am »

I think, I will stick with the buggy 0.2.0 for now.

Too many break-through ideas for my likings:
-I should take good care of my public keys (instead of just the private ones);

- I will send to names not accounts;

- I would not always be able to find/see my transaction history (but my received amount will be fine) – this is the most troubling though –what if I expect 100 BTSX from 50 people at one and the same time, how do I figure out who paid and who did not?

Receiving shouldn't be a problem, the receivers account should pick up all transactions and report them in the ledger just fine.   We will get most of these bugs worked out in the next week.

I hope you know that this not always the case now, right!
