I don't think it's about the money but about the attitude. While some members might not agree with this and its their right, you claimed "... and expect the community to pay me back for them in full."
It's about people not even be aware of this or not agreeing with this and then having you "demand" to be reimbursed. It feels unfair, hence the comment about a worker proposal of $10k to get the chinese app page. It gives the impression anyone can just do whatever they like and demand the community pays them back.

Is there a specific date or block to be expected? I think a reasonable deal of people care about that in cryptocurrencies. Like someone said - @Empirical1.2 if I'm not mistaken? - our inflation will be reduced from ~12% to 2%? I don't know the specific numbers, but his words were spot on, this is like a BitShares super halving.
We should have people know when that happens, the impact it will have an even have a countdown on our main page bitshares.org this kind of simple things that make a difference, might attract people and finally put an end or at least ease the hatred towards dilution, since it's effects will apparently end.
Let's turn our disadvantage into an advantage.

share dropping BTS on PTS is the most stupid idea ever, beating 'the newly minted 500Mil BTS in the merger' by wide wide margin
But anyway, we have only 7 more months of inflation from the merger, and then BTS inflation goes from around 12% a year to 1% or so. This will be like our super-halvening. I think BTS will finally be able to rise again once the merger inflation stops. Two years of low prices, thats what the merger caused.
Maybe we should advertise that.

I like this. It would give us exposure and flag us as a trustworthy community. However, by the time Lisk is on exchanges, we need to have a gateway working, otherwise you know what kind of accusations we will get, plus we need Lisk holders that are willing to sell.

Another question is, what is the purpose of the memo if the BTS still got written to the wrong account?
The account in question is poloniex instead of poloniexwallet...

If I'm not mistaken that is a fake account that already has funds from other members who made the same mistake in the past.
I recall someone sending some BTS to an account that was mistaken by an exchange account and he never got the funds back. It was probably just someone trying to take advantage of people's mistakes.
But at the same time there were users who registered similar names to avoid that problem. At the moment I'm not sure if that account is from a scammer or from someone who is trying to prevent scams. Anyway, send a transaction with the lowest amount of BTS possible with whatever message you want on the memo field.

I guess that works. I was talking about a video with a guest who I cant remember who it was atm. It was around 45 or 50m long if im not mistaken.
There was even an example about what is mentioned in the video. Envelops, that protect the identity of who voted. Paper was folded on top of a table while it was explained. That's all I remember atm.

Would it be possible to verify the results went a certain way without revealing who voted?
There was a video of FMV where they explained how they tech works to someone whose name I can't remember and if I'm not mistaken, that was how they described it. Verifiable voting without exposing who you voted on. Can't find the video though.

Can't everything just be reused?
I will look into both Google and Amazon offerings. If they have template-based deployment solutions similar to Azure, I should expect it will be relatively easy to adapt them. I expect the Bash script to remain nearly unchanged.
