This sounds interesting, count me in.

Just wanted to say I prefer the buyback mechanism instead of dividends. For countries with complicated income tax codes, this is a simpler way to receive profit sharing.

Another option could be to go through, CCEDK's bitEUR/EUR pair. This would allow your investor to bypass the potential bts volatility. I think it still suffers from the same liquidity issue, but placing an order at some premium, along with posting in the forum should work. With SEPA capabilities, I imagine this would be convenient for EU citizens on both sides of the transaction. bitEUR buyer deposits money from their bank account, bitEUR borrower/creator gets paid in EUR on ccedk which they can withdraw directly to their bank.

I was thinking more and if you already have such interested investors, you may want to talk to Ronny as well. I believe CCEDK/OL has been adding liquidity to some of their pairs and he may be able to help and come up with additional solutions as well.

General Discussion / Metafees:USD Market Arbitrage refund
« on: November 07, 2015, 05:07:45 pm »
A little earlier I found an order for Metafees:USD which was significantly above the market price. I was initially going to take it for a little profit until I realized that the price was off by an order of magnitude and most likely a typo. As a result, I still filled the order, but with the intention of refunding what would have been a pretty nice profit. So if you had an order on that orderbook which was executed about an hour ago, please pm me and we can try to figure this out. Or if someone knows of a way I can Identify this person through the blockchain. Please let me know.

If I buy my lifetime membership at "DACPLAY", am I still able to use that lifetime member username to refer new users via "openledger"?

As far as I know it should. The lifetime membership and the account is registered on the blockchain. When you refer someone your lifetime account will be listed as the lifetime referrer for that account and that information will be stored at the blockchain level.

The main benefit is that you get 80% of the fees that pay back. When you are on your account page in the web wallet, there is a link for membership in the left hand side. That page will give a little description about the membership as well as the cost. There is also a yearly membership but that has less cash back.

Would you mind including it in your pull request as well?

After migrating my wallet to the 2.0 GUI i'm sitting on about a dozen open short positions from 1.0.

How can we get rid of these account's after we have close our positions and we don't need them anymore?
I remember @ the beginning we could just "unfollow" them (of course that was dangerous because we could accidentally loose track of our open positions)...
is it possible the system unfollow's them automatically when the position is closed and is empty of funds?

i'm also interested in how to remove closed collateral positions. i already have about a dozen cluttering up my Dashboard and would rather not have 100+ floating around that are closed over the coming months.

Once you close the margin position and send the collateral to your main account, I would just create new shorts in that account. Actually it would just be creating one short in your main account and then updating the position to add/remove collateral or debt. The nice thing is you only have one margin order per asset to keep track of. Also if you have a lifetime membership, then the transactions in your main account will benefit from this. Once you set up the margin position in your main account you can monitor all your positions for various assets in your account overview screen. Hope this helps
