@fluxer555 hello,
Sorry for the late request, hope it's not too late to engage your recovery services (10% Fee?)

I participated in both the AGS and the Note pre-sale. I imported my BTS allocated but never the Note/Muse.

Please advise.
Thanks

« on: April 06, 2016, 09:56:43 pm »
I've tried claiming my IPO Muse without success.

On Muse Client 1.0.1602
I can import my BTC private key  and balance shows properly, but I'm not able to claim the balance it reads: "No Balance Claims"

On Muse 1.0.15
I can import my BTC private key and the balance shows properly, but I'm not able to claim the balance it just clocks and never returns

Any suggestions on this would be great, thanks :-)

even if so, why triggering a bank run on the exchange with the most volume for bts?

+5% agreed... Lets not burn the ships until our decentralized exchange liquidity issues are solved. To date, volume on all decentralized crypto exchanges has been dismal.

The risk is there and real, but lets not "screw the pooch",  just yet.  ;)

We are attending the Texas Bitcoin Conference in Austin on the 27 -29th of March.

Notes will be liquid by then (on the BTS blockchain) Expect news then, last week of march.

Thanks to everyone for your patience (:

I remember you said you would also attend SXSW before Texas conference. Why not announce the launch at SXSW, the people attending Bitcoin conference won't show much interests in the projects that don't rely on Bitcoin, and also they may not know much about music business.  IMO SXSW is a better place to attract attentions from fans and artists.

+5% Bitcoin conferences are like kissing your sister... You need to get out (SXSW) and meet real girls.  !!!   regardless we will support you. :-)

General Discussion / Re: So What Happened To Bitshares AGS?
« on: December 05, 2014, 05:43:29 am »
Hi guys,

AGS = Graveyard?

sorry new here, but I am wondering what happened to AGS? I feel kind of let down. I donated after February, some time in July or so and donated to an address xxx....ANGEL or something. Your site promised the donation would be redeemable for Bitshare AGS after importing the wallet.

Now you merged all of the assets?

I imported the wallet into the Bitshares client and according to your wiki I wont receive AGS until it launches.

However, you moved the AGS forum to "Graveyard" making it look like you abandoned it.

Getting Investor Relations Right

Seriously, I could invest a few hours and dig through all of this mess: BUT if you don't even manage to get this right, you are not a sound investment. You need to add legacy-support-info and make it easier for early adopters to follow your dev and thought processes.

Sorry for the rant, I am just pointing out some flaws. This creates a very bad public image very quickly. Should you want to grow Bitshares into a viable asset, you need to work on your investor relations, have a clear-cut investor page. You don't seem to have a good person capable of PR and maintaining your site. Should probably hire someone with experience for this position.

Best of luck with your project! Can't really take it serious at this level, but if you keep working on yourself, you may have a shot, else you will disappear like the rest of the altcoins at some point :(

AGS is alive and well... Stay tuned !!!  It's just getting warmed up.

The social consensus is pure genius, risky yes. But, it carries with it excellent shelf life. I for one will continue making AGS donations (wink wink) and will fully support DACS that fully honor the consensus. Ask yourself are you a trader or investor/supporter of the ecosystem. If you choose the latter rewards will come. No worries .

I welcome discussing the future of AGS and how we can better serve and be served. Thank you for voicing your concerns.

Anyone else trying to buy a few last minute Notes today, finding the normally very reliable  AGS Explorer down?

Maybe a DDOS attack by an early buyer shutting out any end of day buyers? (too cynical right)

General Discussion / Re: The unfortunate future of Bitcoin.
« on: November 29, 2014, 12:28:51 pm »

I don't put much store by this commentary.

Dowd (along with others) dismisses so many elephants in the room with this view that it borders on the foolish.

First of all, Bitcoin is still here and gaining huge traction with every week that passes. There is an entire industrial sector evolving around it including retail technologies, financial derivatives and more.

Dowd (and others) are highly selective in picking out a single dimension of Bitcoin's existence and projecting that into a catastrophic challenge that's insurmountable. It's not insurmountable. To me they are a bit like the people back in 1994 who said the internet wouldn't take off because http protocol is no use for video. Or it would die because it was it was impossible to find anything. All that happened was that Google got invented.

Secondly, dismissals of Bitcoin's viability based on hypothetical scenarios like this completely discount the concept of a "rights of passage" phase that a technology such as this has to endure to become trusted. Bitcoin "warts an' all" is becoming the accepted reference standard for cryptocurrencies *because* of it's troubles, not in spite of them. People are seeing that it's survived hacking attempts, a near-death by a 'media storm' of fud, competition from a flotilla of alt-coins numbering in their hundreds if not thousands, competition from more advanced blockchain technology.......and survived with barely a dent. After all that, the nearest competitor does not even exceed 1/30th of Bitcoin's marketcap.

All in all, these are hypothetical - not catastrophic - issues which just get solved the more people have an interest and a stake in its future.

I agree with all of the above... And this thread is best categorized as a "Meta" topic .  :)

Release 2 is bitcoin IOU gateway functionality, but the trades still have to be done in the local client?

Release 2 is person to person bitcoin / bitasset on/off ramps, so cross chain with metaexchange acting as the escrow agent.

I'm asking you to prioritize an open source gateway daemon over your other services because it will allow many people to offer gateways and thus help the community greatly.

+5% Granted it may be argued as premature. But, I for one would hope we in this community can finds ways to embrace if not assimilate worthy technologies.  Certainly cheer on their accomplishments.
