Miner count is increasing which is great.  :)

We paid out over 2,100 BTSX to 18 miners for Round 1023125054 and some miners may have got a 50% beta bonus payment last night.

I've tweaked the pool settings based on feedback to set the difficulty per miner such that your miners should be submitting a share every 5 seconds on average. Here is screenshot of one my X11 miner after the setting.

There is an issue on how X11 shares are displayed in the worker stats, what you see in the stats is the actual value of the workers share, not the number of shares submitted. X11 values are always <=1.0. (Scrypt is always>1 and is always>128 on our pool). We use the value to calculate earnings and payouts. That's why it looks like X11 shares are low compared to script - they can't be compared.

I'll work on a way for it to be displayed in a more useful way i.e as a comparative guide of your miners contributions against other X11 miners though - as it's confusing and looks odd.

You probably already know this, but the "BTSX raw payouts" page is listing a bunch of invalid transactions.  Not sure if it's an intermittent issue or a fixed issue.

Thanks Troglodactyl,

I looked into it an it appears that the payout transfers associated with Round 1021143437 expired before they got confirmed on the blockchain and we're eventually paid out in Round 1022003245. Because of this some miners got paid more than they should have and others less.

Those who got paid more - consider it a beta phase bonus...  :D (Hopefully I won't have too many!)

And for those who got paid less - apoligies - I've sent special payouts of 1.5x what you should have got in the first place  :D

I've paused the next payout till when I've checked everything is OK with the bitshares client config, while working on changes to make sure it can't happen again.

Here are the 1.5x bonus payout details...

Is the pool switching x11 coins too quickly?  While I am not throwing much hash as it right now I can barely get any shares submitted.  SGMiner shows 50 accepted and 1 rejected in the last 12 hours.

The other miners on the site also show mostly 0 shares submitted at any given time.

Great feedback, the pool currently potentially switches based on profit every 11mins, the setting that makes a difference in regard to no of shares though is pool difficulty. I'll have a look later at adding a second X11 port for smaller miners that may make  a difference.

I have no idea what the best or most up to date is, but I'm running this: https://github.com/lasybear/sph-sgminer_x11mod.git

I'm running 2 R9 270Xs on X11 and getting about 2.15Mh/s from each.  Please let me know if you're running something faster, I just searched bitcointalk...

SGMiner v5 is newer.

7950 @1100/1500 -I 18 -g 2 -w 128 gets about 3.45Mh/s.  I am using 14.9.1 drivers on vista however the older 14.7 are supposed to get much higher rates, almost 1 more mh/s.

Using the x11 algo.  Not sure if Scrypt is more rewarding for GPU's?

Thanks, I can confirm that's not only newer but faster.

I'm pleased to announce the pool is now operational in beta...  :D

Head over to http://pool.minebitshares.com to find out how to get started mining cheap BTSX.

Remember you only need you BTSX key to mine, no need to register an account or login.

Payouts are every 24 hours, and I'm working on refining the payout data screen, but for now you can see all the raw data in the payouts tab along with the BTSX transaction id etc.

I'll post more when I've had some sleep!

Awesome job nethyb!  +5% +5% +5%

Pool payouts of just over 3,100 $BTSX completed for Round 1021143437, check your BitSharesX client.   :)

Scrypt and X11 algos, basically earned the same today, X11 won out yesterday and we hit over 500 blocks.

Now that pool is operational, I need to focus on the quality of the pool website reporting.
I know I'd like to have clear info on profitability, payouts, overall pool hash rates i.e X11, Scrypt not individual coins pool and no of workers etc

For pool users - can you provide some feedback and tell me what I should address first, as my development time is limited and needs to be focussed.

It looks like I might have time to get the pool into a production ready site that we'd be happy to share with the wider crypto community ahead of the BTSX/AGS/PTS merger and associated marketing push.

Can anyone think of ideas which could improve the MineBitShares experience?
Suggestions?

I want in :)

Can anyone recommend the latest and greatest CPU and GPU miner for each?  Last one I used was CGMiner back in the day...
