So...For some reason 0-0 works on my Asus GTX780. Is this correct??

It looks right to me. I am getting around that CPM on my GTX 780 Ti. 8) (like maybe 30-40 more)
I think mine uses 1-0 because I had a HD6970 on that rig before, and when I put the new card in I bet it messed with the registry. When I have time I still want to test it under Linux and see what CPM I can get.

Hey man, I'm getting this following error, even after following all the proper steps, my gpu is a 780 ti, any idea what may be happening:

I'm getting this exact same error with the same card. Has anyone had luck with this card? Win 8.1 x64 w/332.21 GeForce drivers. Thanks.
I still can't seem to get it to detect my GTX 780ti to be seen by new 1.4 pts-miner under Win 8. It just does not show unless I put 1-0 on the command line but it is the only GPU in the system. Still gives the same error as above. I guess I'll move it over to a Ubuntu rig and see if I have better luck. Unless anyone has any clues. Thanks.
Would you please try '1-0,256', '1-0,128', '1-0,64' ?
Yes! It works with '1-0,256'
Thank you very much!

Do you find that your GPU mining lowers when you are CPU mining on the same machine? I attempted this and the loss in GPU was simply not worth the gains from the CPU, I was simply using more electricity for no gain... (I was using the yam) I'm sure results will vary person to person, just wondering if anyone has added them together to see yet?
Yeah I noticed a big drop if you try to run both GPU and CPU at the same time. At the time I was running yam pointed to ypool and pts-miner 1.3 pointed to 1gh. I was able to get pretty good results by dropping 1 core on the CPU miner, example if it was 12 core, I used 11, etc. Now that they can all point to 1gh, I'll test more this evening with the new version 1.4 and see how goes.

Guys,

Pool miner is now updated to version 1.4, please download it from the pts.1gh.com page.
  • It now uses stratum mining protocol, stale shares are almost zero
  • It is now possible to override workgroup size detection, please try setting it to 64-128-256 if you had 'Invalid group size' error
  • Hashrate is slightly improved

The pool now supports XPT protocol, for CPU mining you can now use yam! Connection string for yam is:
Code: [Select]
xpt2h://YOUR-MMC-ADDRESS:x@pts.1gh.com:18120:18121:18122:18123/pts
Sounds great, it will be nice to have all of my miners on the same pool. So we can use this miner? (the yvg1900 one?) from here:

Thanks.

I found out that using blockchain.info for this pupose is very technical. Has everyone been using the original client. I'm trying to download this but its taking forever to sync

Sent from my A500 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah it can take a extremely long time to sync up a fresh bitcoin-qt client, it has to download somewhere around 13.5GB of data. https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size

Keyhotee / Re: Keyhotee Status Update

Couple things,
Can it be the standard that the links to new/updated versions of software get updated in the OP? It is a real pain to search for latest releases going through page after page. (I know QQ)

We got some good press in Hacker News, but it sent to the new http://invictus.io and the DL link for Keyhotee is borked.

Currently: (Dead)
http://invictus.io/bin/keyhotee_0.5.0.zip
Should be:
http://invictus.io/bin/keyhotee_0.5.2.zip

Thanks.
Normally, that would be the case, but I didn't update the OP link immediately because I didn't want too many downloading it right away, before it got tested by a few intrepid alpha testers. That said, I should have updated it afterward. I'll update it now, especially since the Keyhotee Founder Id registration checking now receives the updates from the web form (well, at least after a few days) so that Keyhotee can be used to verify Founder Ids. One thing you said did confuse me: as far as I can tell the old link 0.50 does work.
The link for the download was not working for a while there, but it has been fixed. Thank you. The new site(s) are looking great by the way. 8)

Great job, it looks really cool. I'll slap it on my Nexus 7 later today and take it for a drive. 8)

Cool, thanks for the reply. But having a direct conversion from USD to PTS and vice versa would also make it a whole lot easier to deal with and a whole lot more independent of BTC pricing.
No worries. I hear what you are saying. It may take some time as Bitcoin has the several year head start going from virtual to physical.

What would be the best way to sell PTS for USD? Directly, without having to convert to BTC
I have not seen any that do that. I think it's just because of the relationships that are needed with banks. The alt coin type exchanges just deal in BTC to eliminate that hassle for them.

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] PTS.1GH.COM - GPU mining
« on: January 14, 2014, 08:07:29 pm »
I did a lot more than that, yestarday with a Hd7950 and a Hd 7870 made 1.10 Pts in 24H but since then just made 0.4, i think the pool lost hash rate and with that the ability to find blocks, i could be wrong but that seems to be the issue...
Yeah, I think people are dropping off and it's taking forever to solve blocks. Mine dropped too, had a little over 2100 cpm and now making squat. This is fading fast and not worth the electricity. It's a bummer, really wanted to see GPUs help rebalance the pools.

Keyhotee / Re: Alpha Keyhotee Bug Reporting in this thread.
« on: January 12, 2014, 10:12:16 pm »
I keep checking back to see if the new alpha release for keyhotee is out but I'm not quite sure where it will be posted.

So, I'm asking again. I'm having the 100% profile issue.
This was released a couple days ago:
I've uploaded new Keyhotee alpha 2 release binary for Windows to:
 http://invictus.io/bin/keyhotee_0.5.2.zip

The main focus for this release was fixing bugs associated with profile creation and loading, including problems related to network issues and foreign language characters. It also has better reporting of successful registration of Keyhotee Founder IDs (previously this could only be checked when creating an identity, now this info is persistently available in the contact info page for that identity). We plan to release a linux binary in a few days, assuming no major problems are reported in the interim.
