General Discussion / Re: We're thinking of coming back to Bitshares

The likelihood would be that the ideal scenario is reversing the price downtrend and the witness pay becoming worth more, or the bts you hold being worth more through improving dpos decentralization and working on bts related projects, rather than from immediately selling witness earnings, cause BTS right now has a very low marketcap and I somewhat doubt that would be enough right now.
I'd be interested in hearing what beef you had with Hive. Steem feels like it fell off after hive forked away from it & when blurt was starting up I was more interested in Smoke network but that died like whaleshares. How are the rewards on blurt? Is it traded on the BTS DEX?
I have no interest in selling any of my BTS.
I would like to run a witness node if it has any chance of getting voted in.
- What are the current system requirements for running a witness node?
- Where is the repo and docs?
As for Hive/blocktrades/marky/valueplan, it's the greed and corruption over there that turned us away. So many great projects on Hive leave because of the whale wars, downvoting, DHF and HBD frauds, you name it. I contributed and actually stuck around over there far longer than I should have. Onward and upward as I always say
Rewards on Blurt are non-confiscatable so what you earn, you keep. Blurt is not yet traded on BTS, so I will need some advice on how to implement that. Besides starting up a witness node, getting Blurt trading onto BTS is a top priority of mine.
