« on: July 14, 2020, 11:44:29 pm »
Can someone please tell me WHAT THE F*CK is up with the website??!!
It STILL says June 5th on it!!!!!!
Is it really that f*cking hard to at least update the front page to the Bitshares platform? Really? Is that too much to ask???!!!
I'd fire the lot of you if I could, this is g*d damn redonkulous!!
For f*ck sake, hire us so I can fire these incompetents!!
Businesses are trying to build their businesses here!! RuDEX, XBTS, ioBanker, WALLDEX and others... How do you think they feel about this EMBARRASSMENT???!!!
It takes 5 minutes to update the message on the homepage yet it has been MONTHS!!
Some of us are out here trying to bring people to the platform and this is the SH*T we have to deal with?!
Holy g*d damn jeebus f*cking hell!!!!!!

In the past, everything seems to rotate around the old domain.
Well, that's no longer the only place for info, news and technical support.
Please bookmark and share these new links...
The BitShares community is also providing a blog here:

Videos are now being uploaded (and hopefully more created) here:
We would also like to TRIPLE the number of active users:

Social Media Syndication Service (SMSS) by Agorise, Ltd.

BitShares has news, releases, updates and/or announcements coming out every week now. We will blast that content out to 10 social media sites every week, copy/write some original content when needed, create a custom image when needed for each post, and produce a video every month summing it up.
Each website below has its own BitShares URL for better branding and search engine indexing. Each post on each site will also link back to Discussions on these sites will be accommodated as well to the best of our ability. Each weekly blast to all 10 sites is 4 hours of work. Accommodating the discussions on 10 sites consumes 1 to 3 hours of work each week. Monthly video production and editing is 8 hours.

Our SMSS/Video Production rate is $35/hour.
So that's 28-36 hours of work per month, which equates to only $980-1260/month.

For the monthly video recordings above, we will also create "intro" and "outro" video clips that will be affixed to the beginning and ending of each vidBlog. Agorise / BiTSy - The fastest mobile wallet in the world, in 104 languages
« on: September 04, 2019, 08:10:14 pm »

BiTSy is an easy to use mobile wallet for the Bitshares (BTS) blockchain and its 2000+ digital assets and coins. Imagine breezing through the checkout line in under 8 seconds. It’s a very lightweight hot-wallet for receiving, sending and storing your cryptocurrencies.

BiTSy install and setup typically takes less than 3 minutes.

Just download the dApp (it's under 6MB now), install it, and import your existing account “Brainkey”, or, register your desired account for free on the Bitshares blockchain (such as "erik-mobile-89") and secure the 12 word Brainkey that BiTSy shows you.

Remember, this app is a hot wallet (like your billfold). Never carry more value on you than you can afford to lose.

For high value accounts, always use offline solutions too, like a paper wallet or the Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. Secure online solutions include the addition of multi-signature permissions and 64-character randomized passwords, supported by the Bitshares Reference Wallet on

Your individual eReceipts, and even money requests (complete with your own QR code and invoice details) can now be sent to anyone via sms, email, telegram, whatsapp, etc. Just tap on the Share icon in the top-right corner.

BiTSy also makes it easy for you to find PalmPay merchants (businesses that accept multiple Cryptocurrencies (like BTS, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, Monero, Steem, Dogecoin and more)). On the map screen you will find restaurants, shopping malls, hotels, and businesses of all kinds where you can spend some Crypto.

For more info on PalmPay see:

BiTSy also collects PalmPay Loyalty Point tokens from merchants that send them to you. They usually have a value associated with them and can be used for discounts at PalmPay merchants, or sold on the Bitshares Decentralized Exchange (DEx).

Tax time is never fun. BiTSy includes advanced Search, Filter and Export tools so that one or more eReceipts can be exported in PDF or CSV formats (for easy import into your Accounting software). eReceipts look almost identical to typical paper receipts, and they usually have the PalmPay merchant’s logo at the top, their company info, how much you spent, etc. eReceipts are automatically sent to your device upon your scan of their QR code.

Looking to buy or sell some Crypto? The interactive, searchable map allows you to find a local buyer or seller.

Your private key is encrypted and kept on your device only. It is never transmitted over any networks.

If you register a new account in BiTSy, it will show you your “Brainkey”. Those 12 words are the key to your account, so keep a couple, separate copies of those words offline somewhere safe from fire or prying eyes. There is no human on Earth that can help you regain access to your account if you lose your Brainkey, or wrote it down incorrectly.

Enjoy coding? Feel free to audit and contribute to this Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) on our github:

BiTSy is in 104 languages, and supports 19 stablecoins (aka: Smartcoins) and unlimited custom coins (such as Stealth, Bridgecoin, Hero, Quint, Twentix, Zeph, Nasdaq, etc). Try "Night Mode" too.

With support for well over 2000 coins so far, and thousands of users and merchants worldwide, BiTSy is hard to beat. Transactions are nearly free and fully confirmed on-chain in 3 seconds or less (merchants will love you for this (and probably reward you)).

Agorise / PalmPay - The chain-agnostic Point Of Sale dApp
« on: August 14, 2019, 07:08:18 pm »
The PalmPay chain-agnostic point of sale Dapp (Decentralised app) enables any size business to accept one or more cryptocurrencies (hundreds in fact) at zero cost, AND includes free on-site support in now over 75 cities around the world (the blockchain pays them to help you).

The PalmPay point of sale Dapp:
  • Is totally FREE.
  • Is future-proof. Support for hundreds of coins and soon, C-IPFS and cross-chain Atomic Swaps (removes the need for HTTP, DNS, CEX's and Bridges). Bitcoin, Bitshares, Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero, Steem, TUBE, LBC and more (even emerging coins such as Facebook Libra, Venezuela Petro, Marshall Islands' SOVereign Coin, Burger King's Whoppercoin, etc automatically).
  • Doesn't require special hardware. Nearly any android device will do. Tablets (most point of sale systems are moving to tablets these days), smartphones and embedded devices and terminals. We are now integrating PalmPay with existing systems as well such as Odoo, Shopsite, vending machines and others. Contact us below for more info.
  • Includes support for multiple Stablecoins such as bitUSD, bitRuble, bitEUR, bitCNY and others.
  • Sends all coins received into one blockchain wallet for you. Can be automatically converted into your preferred currency too.
  • Includes support for Loyalty Points. Reward your customers with your own custom coin and get them to come back for discounts and events.
  • Is faster and safer than cash or cards. ID theft and chargebacks are impossible.
  • Transactions are fully confirmed on-chain in 3 seconds or less. Recently blown through over 3,300 transactions per second. Faster, the most decentralised, and more scalable than any other blockchain in the world.
  • Includes support for Invoicing, electronic Receipts, search/filter/export tools, tap-to-pay, 25+ different mobile wallets, and a growing network of hundreds of servers around the world which keep your transactions flowing faster than ever (even if you process transactions on the move or in-flight).
  • Does NOT require a CEX or Bank, making it essentially impervious to their "issues".
Download PalmPay, register your free username on the blockchain, and open your doors to international customers. Great for exporters and infrastructure providers too (such as the electric, water and internet companies).

PalmPay is one of many open source crypto products from Agorise, a Distributed Autonomous Community (DAC). Bringing Agorism to the world, one decentralised, chain-agnostic piece of crypto-infrastructure at a time.
Oh, and best part yet, PalmPay is BASED ON BITSHARES.
I don't think anyone would disagree, Bitshares serves as the perfect point of sale use-case. Decentralised, 3 second blocks, scalable well past 3,300 transactions per second (so far), prediction markets, multiple block explorers, blockchain logins, tons of free api nodes you can connect to, supported by multiple exchanges and bridges, coin factory, multiple mobile wallets, a multi-million dollar reserve pool, Direct Debit, multisig accounts, referral rewards program with discounts and 80% cashback, paper wallets, blinded transactions, full-fledged decentralised exchange with Trader's Tools, recurring an scheduled payments, invoicing and payment Proposal system, growing open source Developer community, on-chain voting, Smartcoins/Stable-coins, barter tools, dApp tools and libraries, thousands of coin pairs, cross-chain HTLC Atomic Swaps, Cold Storage, Timed Transfers.....
Quite literally everything a business needs and then some. :)

General Discussion / SECURITY ALERT
« on: November 05, 2016, 06:58:43 pm »
SECURITY ALERT - Do not use our android smartcoins wallet, bitshares wallet, or blockpay right now. We hired a security guy and he found a major bug which apparently compromises private keys when unlocking the app or upon a Send transaction. We are going to release a security update as soon as possible. Our servers have been shut down as well. Once the update is audited and released, it will force you to set a new 8-digit PIN number on a new brainkey too just to be extra cautious. Any balances will be automatically applied to your new brainkey, PIN and .bin file, and your existing bts account names do not have to change. We will release this security update as soon as we can and get it published to google play. We sincerely apologize for the downtime and we are working hard to get this update launched asap. Thank you for your patience, the BitShares Munich Team
edit: this ONLY affects users of android. this alert does not apply to the desktop or web wallets.

General Discussion / Designing a logo for BlockPay...
« on: June 23, 2016, 06:48:22 pm »
BlockPOS (the graphene blockchain-based Point Of Sale system) needs a logo.
When you visit a grocery store, retail chain, gas station, restaurant or other business, you are likely to see a visa or mastercard logo at the front door and cash register. At an ATM machine you might see Cirrus, Star, Giropay, EC or other network logo.
BlockPOS needs a logo too.
BlockPOS is an app/module that allows any merchant to accept any cryptocurrency at zero cost. It's another path to profits for them. Even vending machines and kiosks are going to be integrating with BlockPOS very soon (our marketing for BlockPOS really kicks off next week).
Here are some posts about our BlockPOS app and pre-integrated solutions:[member=30868]kenCode[/member]
I can't pay you, but I can certainly put up a very nice steemit post about your work and give you all of the steem dollars that we can take out from that post on July 4th. I can also mention you or your company name in the app credits, with a link too if you like.
This is kind of a rush, as I wanted to launch BlockPOS "S" and BlockPOS for Odoo this week but our current logo designer is running out of ideas IMO, and I think it would be smart if I looked at some fresh alternatives.
If you have some skills, please post the images here and I can at least get the winning design a couple thousand Bitshares for now until the app is launched (next week I hope!). Please and Thank you! :)

[ANN] BlockPay - The App that allows any Business to accept any Crypto-currency at Zero Cost
Integrated completely with your favorite store's Point Of Sale system

Looking for somewhere to spend your Ether? Your Bitcoin, Dash or Steem..?

Over the last few weeks we have been coding yet another mobile wallet, this one is named Smartcoins Wallet. It is native android so it runs extremely fast.

In this video, the Smartcoins Wallet is on the left, and on the right one of our POS systems has been installed on an old phone...
The merchant charges you a specific amount, you scan the QR code (we will put the new scanner in there next week) with your wallet, the merchant receives the currency that they want and you got to spend the crypto that you wanted to spend (Smartcoins/BTS/SBD/BTC/ETH/LTC, etc) and in a few seconds the merchant can automatically reward you with loyalty points (tradeable on the open exchange or can be traded in upon your next visit at that merchant for discounts).

Of course the wallets and Bitshares blockchain also support Overdraft Protection, 3 second blocks, 100,000+ transactions per second, eReceipts (the QR code (or NFC) sends a small pdf file to your phone), unlimited altcoins and other assets, automated accounting and full rewards card (loyalty points) features.

BlockPay (the Smartcoins POS api/apps) can be integrated with nearly any existing POS system that you find at a grocery, retail, petrol, vending machines, restaurant or other business.

We still have a lot of UI/UX work to do and need to add just a few more features, but over the next few weeks I hope to have those finished as well. As usual, everything is open source, works with most crypto wallets (Mycelium, Jaxx, etc), and will be posted on github once we're happy with it.
