If you are planning a new patch with the September 10th update, it makes sense to vote for the nodes that did not install the patch, in order to avoid network problems on August 20th.

Or let the Witnesses update the versions to official github and inform the community about it.

Could you please tell what infra you provided as witness other than a VPS and where you activly where participating in bitshares ?

1. I provide a dedicated Hetzner server for my witness liondani (i7-7700 @3600 Mhz, 4cores, 64GB
    RAM, 500 GB NVME)
2. Backup dedicated server has the same specs (actually I am switching from one to another on
    updates)
3. Contabo VPS server for a) price feeds and b) running the bitshares monitor script
4. Hetzner dedicated server for the api node api-bts.liondani.com (32GB RAM, 500 GB SSD, i7-
    7700 @3600Mhz, 8 cores)
5. Test-net vps node from contabo running liondani-test (place #9)
6.  Seed node server for hard-coded (default seed nodes for BTS) seed01.liondani.com 1776 
     (Xeon E5-2630 @2.20GHz, 8 cores, 32 GB RAM, 800 GB HDD)


PS  Can you enlighten me about the steem fuck up?  (LOL)

Since it's not a perfect exchange, we refuse to be listed? Send out lawyers to ask them to stop working on listing BTS?

To be clear, they didn't ask for money to list BTS.

The worker is a joint community effort to promote BitShares to users of that exchange, to let them know us. Although it's not a top exchange, it does have lots of users, especially in China, a small percentage of the population is a lot of people, much more than total population of some countries.

That being said, I don't know how much money is the best for such promotion. I'm not an expert in this. But it doesn't mean it worth nothing. Anyone who have experience please voice.

The total cost of this worker is somewhat affordable. 600K BTS is peanuts in comparison to the huge workers appeared in recent years. We spend 900K every month for block production. Even for the MM contest we've already spent 3M BTS.

IMO anyone working for the platform is good news for us. If you want the top exchanges to list us, please work towards it.

I think also we should vote for it until we figure out something better (obviously not a perfect solution).

BUT no reason to stay any longer with the current static price feed threshold!

It was supposed to be a temporary emergency solution (and it was)...

It's time to move forward and we still don't have seen any better proposal that can be implemented sooner than  BAIP2.

Nobody supports manipulation of feeds. Just following majority of stake voting. If witnesses would do what ever they personally wanted then we would have probably a bigger problem. What will you say if it ends up in favour of bts future? I see it just as a transition period with no permanent bad results.

The only thing you can do is trying to convince stake holders for their vote "mistake".  Calling names and blaming will not get you there.
