subscribing.Sure everything possible and I already think about this, the main problem as I can see that if http://angelshares.info will be offline or something goes wrong with API we need somehow to notify user about problems, and for now I doesn't see the elegant solution for this but I will keep thinking and looking into client code, maybe I will manage to show such kind of notifications as bitcoin style client alerts.
In theory every client could calculate AGS balances with its own SCAN of the blockchain?Yes, it's right way to do this, it's more complicated to do but I will try to look for this as well.
Created an JSON API for all AGS-balances which will be used in the tool.

What are you seeing with wallet encryption?I immediately encrypted again. It was not encrypted when I installed over the older client.
