It pisses me of when I see ethereum mentioned in articles relating to FX and blockchain and not Bitshares... They are not even launched. This is a marketing call...

DevShares / DVS within BTS

Would it make sense to trade bitDVS within BTS?
Wouldn't this give some value to DVS and might attract more people to claim their DVS and do some trading within DVS wallet?
Would this be like a test for the pegged asset bitDVS and hedge with the real DVS?
I think that implementing an experiment like that might draw some conclusions.Or maybe not..
This just came into my head and just thought to throw the idea...Maybe this doesn't even make sense

Hi,
Why there is no more an option to register an account from one of my other accounts paying the fee and there is only the option via faucet?
I registered a new account by going into the gui and typed "register <account name> <same account name>. (I have send some funds to the account name prior registering it).
On the transaction history now of the new registered account I see a different avatar saying "From <account name> as <account name>. What is this about and why this avatar is different?
Is this the right way to do it or have I done something wrong?
Finally I think there should be an option in the GUI when someone creates a new account, hasn't registered it on the blockchain yet and later decides that he doesn't want to register it the user should have the option to delete it so someone else can register that name. Why something like this is not implemented?

General Discussion / Creating more bitassets has negative impact on BTS price?

My understanding is that demand for bitusd will create more demand for BTS and therefore BTS price should increase.
However, looking at bitusd and BTS graphs, one can notice than when a lot bitusd were created in the end of Oct (from $400k to something like $1 mil) after that BTS price start falling. I know that BTS price falling was attributable to many other factors such as bitcoin falling, DAC merge announcement etc etc..
I just want to make clear that increase in bitusd supply doesn't mean decrease in BTS price but rather that my initial understanding is correct. Or whenever more bitassets are created more bitusd, more bitgold etc this will not reduce BTS price...

Can we please as a community provide some liquidity to the client and the delegates some feeds. Especially for bitusd:bitbtc market which is inactive. I have decided to finally buy 1 bitcoin but I want to use my bitusd to do so. I don't want to be obliged to sell bts to an external exchange in order to buy 1 btc. And obviously I don't want to sell any BTS for BTC in the internal exchange as well..
Also why no valume in bitgold? No one wants to buy some bitgold at the price feed and buyers are asking prices far away from the peg...
If we don't use our platform do not expect other people to do so for us. If you guys just use the platform as a short store of value (and I doubt many use it that way) and sell to external exchanges all the time do not expect BTS to go any further...
We need to start using more our client please...aaaa...biteur as well please some liquidity...there are many europeans among us. stop trading all the time in usd please and show some love to the euro as well..

A new competitor is coming out... It is unfortunate that not many still have any bitgold, bitbtc,bitoil from BTS...We are unfortunately start losing the race here imho..
We need people to realize the power of keeping the assets in a dentralised platform vs. all these centralized solution that keep popping out everyday before it is too late..

I have an open short position soon expiring and I want to rollover. How can I do that? If I let it expire without covering what exactly will happen? If I cover and try to re-open a short position this will not get actioned unless I offer a ridiculously high interest correct?

I am out for 2 weeks and BTS is getting hammered and PTS just died.. I don't mind about PTS since they served their purpose but what am I missing with BTS? Are we slowly and painfully die? 
... Or the expectation is that BTS should be valued as all the bitassets market cap and people think this is normal now?? Who is selling at these prices and why no one is buying??

I see on BTSX client a short order paying 43.52% interest for $67.43.
Current bid price is 42.9632 and ask is 44.
what order should I place if I want to take buy the $67.43 and earn 43.52% interest by holding them?
