General Discussion / Re: Critical Mass or Fratricide?
« on: June 06, 2014, 11:18:47 pm »
From the crypto market's point of view, make each DAC a seasonal release . The price of BTC today is only 50% of its highest value . That is an indication the more we approach mid November, IMO, the higher market index would be reached. Let each DAC matures for its role . And when it is stable enough to stand on its own feet, then make another DAC launch. But it should not be later than  December 25 , where all people are in shopping malls for spending spree (investors divest their shares). Rest assured after that , BTC will again plunge to lower value.

How about making it seasonal . So that each DAC has the chance to live up to its expectations. However, DACs are different in businesses so it depends on the timing . All I can suggest is leave a space in between launches.

This is another case of a plain investor who is afraid of losing more money.  Chill out . Technology revolution such as these DACs come once in a blue moon. Lucky are you if you have been a part of Feb 28, 2014 snapshot. Your shares are now valuable.

Development has never been happening faster than it has these past few weeks and we have more developers coming on line in the next 3 weeks.

I would suggest that the biggest thing that slows down development early on is getting the basic framework in place and communicating the ideas.  You cannot exactly bring in the painters, electricians, roofers, and plumbers on the same day you show up to dig the foundation.

We have been through most of the hard part and getting people up to speed while everyone lives in different places is very challenging.  We now all work in one location and it has greatly enhanced throughput.

Just look at the github logs at the number of people and frequency of commits.

this helps. bm, if ur super busy, can someone stand-by 8/5 for the update on the post "BitShares X Status Update Thread 2.0"? I need yes or no for ur answer. thanks

Give BM the kind of break he needs to focus on bitshares. Once a week bulletin is just as good as 8 to 5 daily updates. He is the right man for the job no one else. Otherwise it will be a second-hand information that is not quite as accurate.

Count me in BM  8) Im from the Philippines

General Discussion / Re: Petition to fire Brian Page

Brian has done tremendous job for marketing from introducing bitshares to the people via the official website. Besides, no product has been released yet so what is there to market. Get ready for some marketing when each DAC begins to roll. Remember bitshares products use a new kind of technology that few people  will comprehend . I know how the sentiment of the author is when his/her investments are far from getting the dice to roll.

just keep on testing...

The Lottoshares DAC Denny/Hackfisher is doing is honoring MMC. Why?

Lottoshares DAC is different from Bitshare Lotto.

You can read about PTS2 by Stan here :

General Discussion / AGS , PTS and now PTS2 . Spot the difference
« on: May 21, 2014, 04:41:53 am »
Now that Invictus announced a derivative of PTS that adapts DPOS, which of it has an edge or more valuable than other. It says that PTS2 will be 1:1 value as to the original PTS. But this might lead to confusion among traders and investors. This brings AGS a little bit of advantage. Eventhough it is hard to make AGS liquid, the stability and adaptability of it made this over PTS or PTS2.
