General Discussion / Re: CDCM versus DAC which is more efficient ?
« on: November 05, 2013, 04:32:14 pm »
I will elaborate.

That was going to be my first point, i got distracted.

Efficient in its primary purpose,  as a corporation.

Which after all , is generally and widespread agreed upon.

You agree ?

Ok, which corporation has the lowest costs and highest profits where profits are defined as growth in stock value + dividends?

Then I would have to say a DAC is more efficient in the markets they can operate.

General Discussion / Re: What is the market-cap of ProtoShares?
« on: November 05, 2013, 03:51:07 pm »
I think it would be fair to judge the market cap as current price  *  PTS supply in 6 months because of the rapid initial inflation, most investors would assume the supply in 6 months which will be about 1 million PTS.   So, based upon current bids of .001 BTS per PTS this puts the market cap at 1,000 BTC or at least $200,000 within the first 6 hours... no takers on the sell side yet :)

By what measures of efficiency?

CDCM is much more efficient for high-speed instant transfers.
DAC is much more efficient for honest, corruption resistant, transparent operation.

Then of course CDCM results in monopoly prices where as DAC results in market competition to drive prices lower...

In the long-run DAC is more efficient because CDCM results in government control which has unimaginable costs on society.
