Why does the Download page have a 32bit and a 64bit windows download ... both pointing to THE SAME exe download file?

Can we have a SOURCES link to github there instead?!

PS: main menu has MUCH better contrast now!! +5%

problem with source links to github is chinese slow loading problem (have to address this issue later on) etc. i'm uploading wallet files directly to .org and then publish also sha1 etc.

Good. Have it done?

yup

http://bitshares.org/download/client/BitShares-v0.4.24.exe
http://bitshares.org/download/client/BitShares-v0.4.24.dmg

Windows installer is unified now and will install 32 bit version or 64 bit version depending on your system. Unnecessary to mention bitness to the users.

Those that have been around the past year know that this is something like version 6 or 7 of the website, if you are interested to see version 3 try this...

Do a Google search for "Dan Larimer"

The real bitshares.org does not rank in the top 100, but version 3 of the website is in the top 5!!!
http://v3.bitshares.org/team/daniel-larimer.php

Found another version of the website...

@MktDirector, @cass
You may want the website design firm that is hosting this to remove it from their server, some of the information - notably the FAQ page - is outdated http://bitshares.thecreativemomentum.com/about/faqs/

thx yes i advised several times to deactivate these sites ...
i don'T have access to these domains ... will ask again on skype groups...

Will add a BTS price index&chart on the front page help to make our site more than a banking related concept? Do you think valid to viewers?

TRADERS MERCHANTS DEVELOPERS

I really like the TRADERS MERCHANTS DEVELOPERS landing page idea.  Don't be afraid of taking up too much menu space - the more I know about the actors in the system, the quicker I can evaluate it.  There should also be a Menu item for CUSTOMERS or INVESTORS or SAVERS or something that the average bitAsset user (who wants no part in risky activity) can identify with.  A How it Works section can then tie together each actors role into a clearer picture.

For "Profit" there's the photo of a Money Safe (Vault)?
For "Secure" there's the photo of a beach with Life Guard ring?

Definitely for "Secure" you must use the safe-vault you used for "profit"

Random comment: New version of wallet is downloading at 20kb/s from github.. Is it that slow, or is it just me? 20 min will deter a lot of people

Another thing that kinda made me go... Huh?... was the "Secure" section and the "Profit" section.

IMO the photos contradict the message, especially the "Profit" section showing a vault for the photo. How does a vault create profit?
I can kind of see the connection of the "Secure" message w/Life ring... but I think a better representation would be something like a computer w/ a bunch of chains and a pad lock around it (or something to that effect).

Other than those couple things I think the website looks A1 top notch  :D
Great job!!!

Same thoughts for me...
The life Guard ring is hilarious ... It makes me feel I am on the Titanic and I will need it any time soon!
... it makes me to imagine that it will be whatever will be left... after the boats sink....  CHANGE IT ASAP!

BitShares is trustworthy yet requires you trust no one.
Maybe my understanding of english is too german here, but doesn't this sentence actually mean "it is explicitly required that you trust no one, to use bitshares - so if you trust anyone it wont work?

I'll second that, shouldn't it be

BitShares is trustworthy yet  [it] does not require you to trust anyone.

I love google trends as it can give you really good information.
