However now via the tipping bot & a low transfer fee, you can give enough BTS/SmartCoins to potential customers to make them try out BTS for very, very little. Paid for by referrers &/or people giving genuine tips/donations/gifts.

Despite it's many innovations BTS is hardly on the radar or in the crypto-conversation. This latest indepth 110 page report seems to cover everything except BTS http://fintechnews.ch/1763/blockchain_bitcoin/ecurex-releases-110-page-digital-currency-report/

If we could replicate Dogecoins numbers and have tens of thousands tipping BTS Gold, Silver and Smartcoins across social media, things could change very quickly. It would be a lot of free publicity and advertising, in addition to a direct user acquisition tool.  BTS would be hard to ignore and it would start getting some of the recognition it deserves.

I think that if, for example, to have the option to trade UIAs token of ShareBits instantly to BitUSD (FISTBUMP>BTS>USD) it could be a great "gateway drug" to the BitShares ecosystem.

@tonyk and @Tuck Fheman I was thinking one way we could have an alternative use case is by "white labeling".

Let's say there is a huge MineCraft forum out there. What if we could give them the possibility to whitelabel sharebits for free? They get an "app" where they can upload their logo, their color scheme, set their base UIA and specs.

This way, each community can have their own custom branded "Power by ShareBits" tipbot.

Included in the sharebot could be a simple function to trade whatever UIA they have for BitUSD?

Then we have a gateway drug. :-)

I am opening this tread because I would like to connect with people who would like to brainstorm and work together to market ShareBits upon release.

In many ways, it market itself but I would like to lock arm with other people to "invade" the internet with it.
We can talk strategy, niche, alternative use, etc.

Fuzzy has let me know that people who are helping out will receive BROWNIE.PTS which is going to be generously sharedropped on in the future for SHAREBITS.

Who's interested?

WHY is the source of motivation. The reason why people don't do something that we know is good for them is because they don't have a strong enough reason to...not a powerful enough why.

Look at DOGE coin. The reason is: Because it's fun!

Why am I here, Why BitShares?

The reason why is because this project was built upon a mission: To Secure Life, Liberty and Property. 
Knowing that people rallied around that idea, built a community and an amazing technology is something that keep me around.

Also, I find amazing that I have an opportunity to invest in businesses that believe the same thing (OBITS, METAFEES, etc.)
It's a community of bright and forward thinking entrepreneurs.

Another powerful WHY is that I would like to see this tech replace FOREX and NASDAQ. People from all around the world being able to jump in the game without having to go through expensive 3rd party.

What does "getting it up and running" mean? Do you mean creating a forum or a chatbox within the wallet?
