I've installed the client on a brand new machine and running through some tests.

1. Failing registering username faucet through Google

It let me enter my credentials the first time and failed. Every time I go back to it I get the message below.

"We're sorry, but something went wrong.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information "

Where do I find these logs?

I've fixed the faucet, could you try to register it again?

Fixed.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Delegate proposal: dev.sidhujag

Hey guys,

Ive since added bitshares login successfully and am meeting with the ceo of loginradius to try to add bitshares to the backend... Anyways i need to get voted in soon as my cart/azure charges are over $250 per month.. I hope to be added so i can continue my work on the ecommerce side of things there is still tons of integrations to go.. Joomla wordpress shopify.com to name a few...if login radius agrees to add bts then i told him id work for free for him.. As i assumed id be a delegate by then
I also would work with cass to get an ecommerce section on the bitshares homepage to surface the plugins to the public...

I think the work that you are doing is very valuable for all of us and I voted for you (quite a while ago).

Thank you! Quite tough to getin without bm stan and other whales help seems its pretty hard to get in without them especially those chinese whales.. Maybe they dont know about the work I did? Can someone communicate to them?

I've updated this request at NullStreet.

Thanks bitsapphire, i kind of agree, it might confuse new miners coming to our community, is there another area it would fit in well?

I suggest Crypto Economy.

There is ideas bouncing around on Nullstreet about adding a Bitcoin receive address to a rebranded BitShares lightweight wallet along with support for Shapeshift and Metaexchange. Is this in your wheel house?

There's also a great discussion about what it would take to add a prediction market in the general thread.

Integrated bitcoin wallet: no one is working on it so current estimate is never

How many full paid delegates would it take to hire someone to complete this task, and how long should it take?

Could somebody make this in 2 months for say 6 full paid delegates?

How much "bounty" or "full paid delegate pay" should we list for this position?

@arhag has been bouncing some ideas around concerning using the liteweight client and forking something like electrum on Nullstreet.

I am a 100% delegate and I am 100% behind this idea.

I will promote this in future delegate hangout.

I'm just downloading the bitshares 0.6 and I'll burn my first report of my delegate position through burns.

Thank you.

There's enough interest to create a poll. If the community sees a a positive response, we can start requesting delegates giving their official position if they will cooperate. A template could be created and we're making progress.

There is obviously enhancements that could be made to the wall functionality, in the meantime we are off any running. I also like the idea mentioned about delegates proposing how often they plan on updating.

That's a great idea, how about a calendar that only the delegates can access. This calendar is either on a website or inside the wallet, each delegate can post a date when their project is expecting to be completed on the calendar. If the project does not get released on that day, it changes to delayed. If after a few weeks or a month that the project doesn't finish that delegate would suffer from the community voting for other delegates that can complete projects.

Yeah this is a great idea. An overall plan and basic schedule even if it frequently changed would be very useful. Even Runes summary was pretty good, that's more than I knew.

Hpenvy's responses I think highlight one of the reasons we struggle to attract new money - in response to a simple request for a place where they can see a schedule they get asked whether they're keeping up with github, mumble, nullstreet and a delegate reporting discussion. Unfortunately we can't make it that complicated to find relevant investment information.

I already proposed a solution. If someone feels passionate enough about it, they can create a delegate (or have someone run their delegate for them) interact with all the different pieces of a decentralized projects and coordinate through a program like Slack, Asana or Trello.

Here's the beauty of the delegate system. If someone wants to propose a project manager or project reporting delegate and the community finds value, their delegate should be funded. I know the team over on Nullstreet is starting to use Trello for task management and reporting.

As an investor in your company, I want to know the overall plan and schedule, and I'm sure everyone else does too.

There is no company. I believe what you're asking for is more frequent updates from the different delegates?  If that's the case, please join the delegate reporting discussion in the forum. I agree, better communication across all 100% delegates is essential.  Have you been keeping up with the GitHub? How about the Mumble sessions? Are you on Nullstreet?

Extremely frustrating. I tried creating another account, restarting the client, clearly browser cache, still same error with the faucet through Google, Twitter and client options.

Being a businessman and judging a venture by its ROI is all very well. But at the end of the day, the real question is: do you believe? Do you fuckin' believe in this project or not? If you believe, then sacrifice a little. There are plenty of people working for free, or damn near free, to push the hell of of BitShares because we BELIEVE in its future.

When a majority of the community was still waiting on the secret sauce marketing campaign to launch, it was Method-X that grabbed a few of us such as Gamey, Fuzzy that were contributing in the graveyard of a marketing thread. Nullstreet launched and we all slowly reached out to those we felt we would be interested in contributing. Those people in turn pulled others into the mix.  We started producing results, the marketing director stepped down and the direction of BitShares marketing was forever changed. Asking him to sacrifice a little makes my skin crawl.

Whatever he decides to do in the future, as an investor, I thank him for all he did.   His delegate is in the hands of the voters, I'm just sharing my personal experience.
