Well done!  You got it.  :)

I love the part on building the necessary basic "infrastructure" before any big marketing push.  Getting the "outside" layman to come in is difficult without a direct link from dollar to btsx/bitusd.  Thanks for the incredible work.   +5%

General Discussion / Re: Where can I download the newest wallet?
« on: October 09, 2014, 05:24:12 pm »
today, i found that i was not the only one who has this problem.  :'(

the program is that the PTS wallet is incompatible with the window8.1 system on my computer.

can 3I develop a new wallet program which can solve my problem, or i have to think about the other ways, like changing a system.

sorry for my English, i might not convey all the meanings i try to say perfectly.

Thank you for your hard work, especially for your patient help.

Even if the PTS wallet is not compatitble, the installer _should_ at least run.  From your error message, it is likely your downloaded file is corrupted or blocked by an anti-virus.  Norton antivirus, for example, has this SONAR risk-based speculation about a software.  Disable such feature.  Check that your downloaded file is complete eg file size matches.

I am friendly and here for your protection.

I could use a nickname - I like puns with the word "key".

I like this friendly simple icon - a circle with a few strokes.  Easy to remember. +5%

588M, AWS EC2 Free Tier.

I move the volume back & forth between it & an xlarge for building.

You do not have enough memory. And EC2 free tier is notorious for killing resource-hungry processes.  Try getting a 2GB RAM instance to run it.  You can easily test it out with an instance.

Technical Support / Re: I'll send 6800 DNS to anyone who would help me

How do I sign a message using my Coinbase BTC private address? I'll send the fund if the problem is resolved for sure.
Thanks!

Try the steps detailed in the attached screenshots.  Once you reach Step 6, you will get a 'Signature' - a string of scrambled text.  Send this signature, your coinbase BTC public  address and typed message (containing the new BTC address in clear text) to toast.

Edit: Type in the message your new BTC address which you can create in a locally installed BTC wallet. I believe toast would need to do an address substitution for you.

Cheers!  :)

Delegate bitcube is fortunate to be given the opportunity to support toast's effort in the promotion of KeyID to new users.  I am very thankful to toast.  A new Get Free KeyID faucet - http://bit.cubeconnex.com:5555 is launched.  The faucet provides Free KeyID accounts to new users.

If you are a new user, you will need to have a twitter or google account to be authenticated with the faucet. No private information is gathered.  Your private data in twitter or google account is safe.  You will also need to download a wallet from http://keyid.info and create an account in the wallet.  The public key from the newly created account can then be used to register with http://bit.cubeconnex.com:5555.  Do freely let me know if you need any help.

I would like to thank "onceuponatime" for his generous donation to the Get FREE KeyID fund.  If you like to contribute to the fund too, please send your DNS to :

ID: bitcube

All your generous donations / contributions to this effort will be made known.

Your vote and support are important. Please vote for delegate bitcube.

KeyID / Re: toast, when can we register domain in keyID
« on: October 09, 2014, 11:18:07 am »
That key graph stuff is about as clear as mud to me, I have no idea what it's all about..
These edge descriptions are strange .. and I don't get them either ..

Would definitely be nice to have a clearer idea of what exactly the main features of DNS are, cause I must have missed the announcement on what keyID actually is. I'm guessing it's inheriting some of the functions of Keyhotee, but does this mean Keyhotee is abandoned?
good questions ..

From a traditional DNS system's tree-like structure, the nodes are the '.' and the edges are the 'names'.   I wonder if a decentralised DNS system works the same way.

contact coinbase ,they can get the shares and send to you.

I have contacted Coinbase. They are not helping..

I think the best way is to ask Coinbase for your BTC private address.  The devs would not be able to help you because they cannot prove that you are indeed the holder of the address.  Unless, you can sign a message using your Coinbase BTC private address (to prove you own the BTC address).

If the above helps you, please donate your fund to ID: bitcube.  Delegate bitcube is helping with a promotion program for Get Free KeyID at http://bit.cubeconnex.com:5555.  Please vote for delegate bitcube.

Cheers!   :)

Your blockchain is not in sync.

Try this:

1) Open Windows Explorer. Go to %appdata%\BitShares X
2) Backup your wallet folder by making a folder copy to another location
3) Delete everything EXCEPT your wallet
4) Launch the wallet app. You will see 'Not Connected'.  Wait for about 10 to 30mins and it will start to sync.
