General Discussion / Re: Why I like Ethereum [BLOG POST]

I will do my part to provide guidance to new developers along with tutorials. Will you do your part of welcoming any and all development on BitShares?
Yes, I will.

Technical Support / Re: UIA restrictions

[member=120]xeroc[/member] That means the "Transfer restricted" flag has nothing to do with the white/black listing?
In my understanding "Transfer restricted" should also disable any market activity between holders?!
How can I maintain the whitelist in the GUI?
When the Issuer send the Asset to someone is the receiver automatically on the whitelist (temporary or forever)?
Don't know if this is already documented couldn`t find it.

Technical Support / UIA restrictions

I have created a UIA and enabled all available restrictions in the GUI.
I can confirm that transfers are now only possible between issuer and holder but not between holders.
However holders can bypass my restrictions by trading the UIA on the DEX.
How can I restrict Market activity for my UIA between holders too?

I`m here to support a new financial freedom and I agree MAS "may" be a part of it.
But seriously why do you want to focus on MAS any time soon when the DEX is still not ready?
Our primary goal was all the time a piece of the 700 Trillion derivatives markets (and not 2% of the market targeted by and this we can only reach with a world-class DEXchange, striking features and a endless amount of cool "working" financial instruments.
But as long as we can`t compete with the simplest Forex trading platform we are not ready for the next big steps.

I thought together we want to build the unbreakable best Exchange and Bank in the world?!

Technical Support / Re: how to keep my accounts clean?

There is a 'null-account' owned by no one .. however transfers there are not for free ..
I'd rather have a feature in the gui to hide dust assets
Hiding in the GUI is not enough, I need real clean Accounts!

Since I were not able to find BitShares-Munich as registered Company it seems like you are doing this fundraiser as private individuals?!
If you are doing it as private individual I wonder if the 19k EURO you want to raise are really reliable developer costs or if you just want to stay in the 20k EURO taxfree crowdfunding zone?
Or are you doing the fundraiser as Small Business? Then you would have to pay tax if you raise more than 17.500 EURO?!

If this is a private show how can Chris be the CEO/CMO/CFO of anything?
Why is CCEDK the issuer of the Token and you are "only" the seller?
* What is the difference between creating/issuing the token and just selling it?

I suggest you to create a legal business entity because you are:
* Doing a crowdfund of ~19.000 €
* You are offering a 50% rewarding program which is basically recurring buyback of OPENPOS that is very likely affected by the KWG
* You are offering a contract which is at least affected by $312b BGB

Wasn't there a call with Winheller from which you wanted to post the results here a while ago?
* I think the whole community would benefit from the knowledge you gained about bitassets and taxes.

Sorry for this littlebit pessimistic post but I fear I would not get back anything in return of my investment when you've found out how big the regulatory issues you'll face really are.

On the other hand you will become my personal heroes if this projects gets through all the regulatory instances successfully.

Technical Support / how to keep my accounts clean?
« on: December 27, 2015, 07:04:54 pm »
I just received some tiny amounts of openbtc via sharebits and some other assets I cannot transfer or burn because the required fees are higher than the assets are worth.

  • how to keep my accounts clean from spam assets?
  • how to find out who sent me those spam assets via sharebits?
  • how to burn for free? Can we have Burn button (recycle bin)?
  • how to enable a whitelist for assets/senders that my accounts are allowed to receive?

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: GUI development worker - svk

Will you integrate Recurring & Scheduled Payments to the GUI? Or do we need another Proposal for that?
