I am another who can not login and am being rejected on my password , which is 100% correct. I registered here a few days ago and sent a small test deposit which went through ok.  I have spent an hour trying to get this login/password sorted with no luck.I wanted to make a deposit to my a/c. Is this issue due to a glitch in the system atm or what ?
please try the light wallet and give feedback

General Discussion / Re: BittRex vs OpenLedger
« on: July 14, 2017, 12:43:55 pm »
I think there is some confusion.

Bittrex is a centralized exchange and NOT related to BitShares, beside that they trade the BTS token.
There is no Bittrex Gateway in BitShares.

Gateways are needed to transfer tokens between different blockchain's or fiat to blockchain.

Why in hell do you use a centralized exchange and why do you use it to store your wealth?
It is already known for years that your funds are at risk on those exchanges and that the probability to receive sharedrops is very low.
If bter does not do what you want we cannot help you.
What is the reason BitShares does exist, what do you think?

Good job, good proposal draft.
I think if you want to form a team around you that would be possible too.
Keep on rocking.

I believe @xeroc is going to do some whitepapers. Correct me if I'm wrong.
You are correct .. but it is A LOT of work .. BitShares is not just another altcoin .. I will try to release papers when they are ready ... but there are at least 5 in the makings ..
@xeroc what's the status on the 5 whitepapers? only 2 have been released so far. anything still in the works we could help with?

I'm trying to get BitShares listed on http://www.exchangewar.info but need some technical assistance for the admin there.

"I was looking into the API and it's confusing:
http://docs.bitshares.org/api/
For example, to get all assets, I'd use get_assets, but it's limited to 100 assets. Is there an easy way to get all the tickers for all assets with just one call?"
