the money's on there. any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Ah sorry for the late response, there was some bug fixes over the last few days, let me just test something real quick. There was a bug that tipping BTS on the forums wasn't working (it was failing to resolve the asset id). I believe it was fixed, let me re-test:

#sharebits "merockstar" 50 BTS

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi, sorry about this, it seems we over looked something. Fuzzy has the habit of putting periods at the end of his twitter tips, and I wasn't aware assets could be anything other than letters.

I've removed the filter that forces the asset name to only contain characters, and added a "can't resolve" message (which I guess you can see present in this thread).

It's clear to me that ASSET.NAME is a valid name, and I'm told dashes and underscores can also be used in asset names. What other characters are permissible, also is ASSET. (with a period at the end) a valid name?

Sorry for the inconvenience, still ironing out bugs. Thanks.
Please go ahead and  try tipping the sports tip again.

1 gets divided among the asset holders based on their stake (%-holding determined via cryptofresh) of the asset you're dropping on.

Hi 38Pts, sorry for the inconvenience.  I have investigated your account and see you have made two withdrawals:

One of asset 1.3.544 for amount of 5 (tx id b626de03b655e18f3ef48a394594e5edd1185845)
One of asset 1.3.535 for amount of 65000 (tx id ff925717f0bd43f84334ed0d332727565746a62a)

I have confirmed with cryptofresh neither of these tx ids are valid. I will be reimbursing your account for the following:

65000 BROWNIE.PTS (asset 1.3.535)
5 CHATEAUX (asset 1.3.544)
90 BTS (asset 1.3.0) -- for the withdrawal fees.

Please check your account within the next 30 minutes of this post and try withdrawing again and let us know the results! If you experience further issues, make a thread in the Freebie section.

Just a follow up here, while the chart may no longer displaying hashing power, please continue mining as funds are being converted to BTS and everyone is being actively credited. Right now there is a hold up at Poloniex for BTS withdrawals, once that's resolved everything will continue as normal.

Cryptofresh, Poloniex are both experiencing problems related to Bitshares atm, we're probably having a similar issue. I'll have kuro look into it, let me forward this to him.

Few tl;dr points here, feel free to PM me directly, or post in Freebie with questions:

The very first share drop Ronny did didn't entirely execute properly (an error occured, so some people got missed). This was a share drop on OBITS and BROWNIE.PTS. We produced a list of people who held brownies, but didn't receive anything from that initial drop (likewise with OBITS) ... this drop was to correct it for those who didn't receive from the initial drop (tl;dr you might not be on the list if you don't hold brownies on BTS 2.0, or you did receive a part of the initial drop).

Since then we've sorted out the issues thanks to the tests Ronnie and clayop did.

To enter in an authenticated session on sharebits.io via BitsharesTalk you need to generate a security code which can be done under the security tab. This is to prove you are the real owner of the account. An authenticated session lets you withdraw funds, generate tips, etc.

You can only generate one every 24 hours... it'd be more efficient to just create a shill account and PM people to spam them then use our service, lol.

Anyone can request a withdrawal code be generated, just how anyone can punch your email into a site and hit "Forget Password" which will send you an email. There's nothing too alarming.

No no, the UIAs were sent out, but they weren't sent to the right accounts, they were sent to accounts with spaces that can never truly exist. So the people intended to receive the UIA didn't receive it. I'm assuming since the asset is a UIA you have a large surplus of it, so perhaps post your tip list again but this time without a space at the start/end?

If you want a refund for the ones already issued, I can arrange for that since they all ended up in accounts that will never really be accessible.

If you have questions, I recommend posting an individual topic with your question in the Freebie section, I'm far more likely to notice it if it's there, sorry for the delayed response; let me know if there are further issues.

Hi thanks for the report, I've replied directly to your thread you issued the tips in, cheers.

15
So I investigated this, and looking up tips by message id show that indeed 566 people were tipped from your post. However, I noticed the formatting of your post is slightly off. The quotes were intended to be a literal username, which means whats in the quote must exactly have been there username. To make this more clear, " hybridd " is not my username, I don't have spaces on the end, "hybridd" is.

I guess in away you tipped to void/burn accounts since (I think?) it is not possible to have a username on these forums with a space at the start or ending. I can adequately refund the amount of MERRY.CHRISTMAS to your account if you so desire and retract the tips that were issued.

In regards to why the bot never posted.. honestly, I'm unsure, so I'll look into reproducing your results with a UIA using the same list you did. It's possible it had to do with the length of the post exceeding whatever the forums post limit is... I'm not sure.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed, an sorry for the inconvenience. Merry Christmas mate :).
